The Linux aspect should be given more prominence, it is not suitable for everyone.
I've been using Eee PCs for a year and haven't yet had to dirty my hands on Linux. The vast majority of users wouldn't find it any more difficult to use than a Windows machine. In fact, easier I'd wager. Less risk of spyware and viruses. There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.
It's for the many and not the few. Be sure it's out there looking for you.
In every town, in every state. In every house and every gate.
Wth every precious smile you make. And every act of kindness.

I`ve seen this website who specialise in laptops and feature a massive range of them, that are really easy to navigate. I have now bought a proper laptop and also one of these small netbooks from them and they delivered perfect service on each occaision.

we saw a super sexy Packard Bell netbook in Curry's the other day but there was no info posted about it I do know it was running vista, anyone got any ideas which one it might have been - yeah I know, I should have asked the box sellers in there but I hate trying to deal with teenagers trying to tell me stuff they learn from a script, and I was too pushed for time to work it out for myself.Signature No Longer acceptable -

I wouldnt touch a PB with ten mile long barge pole. My ex bought one for my daughter from PC World. The build quality is very very poor. It started falling apart soon after we got it and has been back to the shop twice for repairs and once to replace a dead - and very expensive - battery.0
