Could anyone assist in suggesting one is the better choice or is it worth paying out the more for the Asus 901?
For the same price I would choose the Acer with the Atom processor which appears give better performance than the Celeron in the ASUS.0 -

If you click on the link to the HotUKDeals.com website they have a link to an advert from Dixons on a refurbished Advent 4211 netbook going for £199.99p - it also mentions if you purchase it between 4:00pm & 5:00pm today you can get an extra 5% off.

Anyone interested in purchasing a netbook may find this site of some use :-

Although it doesn't point you at the cheapest deals it does list just about every netbook in the world (along with mp3 players) showing their technical specs and user reviews. How much? You're having a laugh!0 -
Help! This is my first forray into posting and/or replying to posts/threads so I hope I'm doing it right. I have a 13 year old daughter who's desperate for a notebook for Christmas, but it has to be pink! Any suggestions, please? I'm thinking of spending £250-£300 max.0

Don't laugh at banana republics. :rotfl:
As a result of how you voted in the last three General Elections,

Can anyone tell me exactly what a netbook is? I'm thinking of buying one for my brother? All he wants is something so he can get internet access, would this be any good?0
