    This is really getting to me now. I feel physically sick and I've got awful knots in my stomach. I hate being lied to - or having the wool pulled over my eyes. All along I've tried not to panic but now I think we are living in a really stupid world at the moment.

    I exchanged on a house last week, using my overdraft, believing the money was on the way..... I dread to think of the consequences if this money doesn't turn up in the next couple of days.

    I strongly believe now is the time for action. We should have seen some nice pleasant postings of people receiving their chaps this morning. We were assured that they were all done on Friday and would hit our accounts today.

    There is no way on the law of averages that all of us posting on this forum are by 'coincedence' part of the 5% of payments that didn't get through.

    We are just being fobbed off and having the mickey taken out of us. Lets take action today.[/quote

  • I have been put through to some sort of priority line. ha ha, that was 9.19am. Now look at the time, its a 0845 number, they are profiteering from our misery. I will have to hang up just to get a tissue. i am now crying

    My transfer was requested on October 11th and I also got this email. It does appear that only those who requested transfers after the 11th are in the 5% awaiting manual transfers. It would be interesting to see if anyone does know different.

    Any advances on the 11th? As that was a Saturday then we are really talking about anyone who requested their funds after Friday 10th. Has anyone got any evidence to the contrary?
  • I asked for 2 CHAPS and one BACS from 7/10 (after 2pm) and have not received any of the CHAPS transfers but on Friday I did receive the BACS transfer—as a CHAPS. Unfortuntaley it was just £100 and not the much larger amounts I asked for by CHAPS.

    We really need to do something to escalate this - but what???
    I got last nights email, my BACS transfers were requested on 12th and 13th October.
  • hi all i requested chaps payment on tuesday 7th oct, for 35k, no sign of it in my linked bank account, i have have just rang them i have a free phone number 08006038888, they were useless, when i asked will my money be in by c.o.b today they said i dont know, what can we do, am at a loss
  • Me too, still waiting for CHAPS initiated online on the 7th. It would be good if ING would acknowledge that we are not just a small minority of people who have, up until now, waited patiently for their money, it seems to me to be all of us who transfered money by CHAPS! My patience is now stretched to it's limits!

    I am one of the hundreds (if not thousands) of people still waiting for money from KE.

    Despite repeated assurances that all but manually actioned telephone transfers would be paid into our accounts first thing today we have still received no monies-my own bank is a CHAPS clearing bank and has no pending transactions for me.

    The ING website indicates that all but the manual transactions have now been processed BUT WE STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED FUNDS FROM PERFECTLY NORMAL WEB INITIATED CHAPS REQUESTS.

    Can you please investigate, the call centre people from ING are pulling their hair out, the disconnect is as follows;

    -KE call centre says speak to ING
    -ING call centre says everything is fine but payments are being done at KE with a joint KE/ING team.
    -ING call centre has no access to payment processing team and no visibility of accounts.
    -Customers cannot get access to the payment processing team.

    Please can you help resolve this kafkaesque situation?

    We are all being driven to distraction here, we just want to know that out missing monies are acknowledged (in writing or email) and a timeframe for resolution., We would also like ING to stop hiding behind this smokescreen of manual transactions as it is now wearing somewhat thin - these were perfectly standard web initiated transactions.

    To the best of my knowledge there are well over one hundred people in the same position on just one web forum alone with funds totalling some £4M currently lost in the ether - this represents in some cases people's total net wealth.

    We are not going to see any money today, HSBC have no pending transactions for me, theKE website indicates that all bu manual transactions are now done - have sent the aboe to working lunch, suggest you all do something similar,

  • i have £27k which i tried to transfer on the 8th oct. still no sign and ING said this morning it would be by the end of this week, but didn't sound very convincing.
