The clever get out clause they are using is 'a small number of manual payments have to be processed, and we aren't giving a timescale on this....Well, they could fob ANYBODY off with this.
I have just spoken to a CSR at Kaupthing who has advised that approx 5% of payments weren't done, and need to be done manually. BUT, they cannot give a timescale of when they will be processed or received.
I am going to contact Martin (Press Relations) again this morning to get an updated statement on this. Is anyone going to take up Media leads today or tomorrow?0 -

I'm also waiting for a transfer to my SMILE account it's my birthday today so I was hoping to see the money this morining - I've given SMILE the CHAPS transfer number and KE account number and asked them to chase it. Will see what they say.
how weird, and its my birthday on Wed, maybe is some mad pattern LOL0 -
I dont think anyone will be able to answer that question given the current transfer times.
I made a withdrawal of some of the money using BACS this morning so lets see if it turns up on Wednesday as it should.

Chaps transfer Tuesday 7th October 4pm for £34000 has still not arrived in my linked Nationwide Account. I have not had an email from ING as some posters have to say that my withdrawal will not be one of the 95% majority and will take a bit longer. I did however received a small BACS payment of £279 on Friday in my linked account from KE (which was CHAPPSED). Just checking in here as one who has STILL not received their cash.0

Problem for me with this "explaination" is that my payment was not manual but a perfectly ordinary routine request for an online transfer by BACS on cleared funds made after KE takeover.
Don't believe they could organise a get-out clause in a brewery.0 -

For those people who havent had their cash sorted by the beginning of next week, I (or MSE Dan) will happily speak to ING about this issue in more details and see if there's any route we can set up to try and help sort things out more quickly.

That what's Martin wrote last week when there was a timeframe for us receiving our payments. We still haven't received our CHAPS, so can someone prod Martin and/or MSE Dan to see if they can bring some "MSE clout" to the case?
