Well, bully for you. None of us know what is round the corner. I just hope you manage to hold onto what you have.

£3,087,033 from 93 CHAPS (value given for 90 transfers) initiated transfers that have not arrived in linked accounts.

Don't forget that I told you mine was a BACS/11August which is still awaiting payment.

Do you have a separate list for BACS non-payments or is everybody lumped together in your total of 93?

Mine was a BACS made on 5th. However, I don't see any logic in ING not being responsible as any CHAPS not yet paid were held in KE's holding account I assume, therefore still part of KE assets

It all depends who had the funds, whether KE or KSF.

Bacs funds never left KE, so ING can distribute them.

Chaps funds went to KSF, and administrators had them when KE got declared in default. ING do not have these funds.

I hope I am wrong,....but we must investigate this possibilty. The sooner, the better, in case there are time limits on claiming from the FSCS etc. You know what their rules can be like.

Sorry to dispute this. I thought that there were only 3000 savers affected with non internet accounts through KSF??

Could you advise where your info came from please - ING have already stated that any transfers made through CHAPS would get their £20 fee refunded. This I would assume would mean that they have the account details and the funds

    Thanks

wish i'd known this was round the corner - i'd have had some savings ready that's for sure!

Oh well, I think lots of us have learned some kind of lesson in this chaos. Still, things can only get better, eh? Fingers crossed for (all of) you.

Not at all, just a wake-up call. Don't bite the hand that is feeding you. An insolvency can take months or even years to sort out ... ING are getting money back to former KE customers in a matter of weeks ... money that would have otherwise been lost forever.

I just really hate ungrateful people, especially when they criticise others for not getting them out of a mess 'quickly enough' that they created themselves.

    Dave.

Lets see if you feel the same when your 360k goes missing one day!!!
We are not calling Ing for their slowness just their lack of upto date accurate info , we are all very careful investors who just unfortunately fell for the foreign banks hype!!

Since it's my life savings, I hope so too.

I have never equated money with friendship or friendship with money, but I'm always suspicious of those who do. Fortunately I have a huge number of friends (but clearly not on this thread :rotfl: ) who I can count on if needed, and they know they can count on me ... it's a simple recipe for a happy life.
