I understand that some Ing staff are working alongside a few former K-E staff in K-E's London office where account details are kept. These people are there purely to provide a helpline service, eg to sort out login problems, handle general account queries, listen to our moans and groans etc. They are not directly involved in making BACS/CHAPS payments, and therefore they can't tell you whether payments have actually been made. All they can say is that a particular payment was scheduled to be made. I gather that the actual payments are carried in K-E's treasury department which is now under supervision by administrators, and this place has been largely cut off from the helpline staff in order that the repayments process is not disturbed by too many individual inquiries.

If you'd been paying attention DAVE, you'd see that I have never laid ANY blame at anyone's door! I am waiting patiently and ANXIOUSLY for my money to reappear. This forum has been a life line over the last week and a half and the last thing we need is those that have got their money telling how grateful we should be when we haven't seen a penny. I will be VERY grateful when I do finally get it back, until then I want to keep my spirits up and you're just depressing me.
