Fair enough Luke but I do get sick of all the negative comments in this thread aimed at an institution that has taken on a major task ... sorting out someone else's mess ... and who are doing it as quickly as possible.

I have no connections or dealings with ING (other than £1 left in my KE account that they have now inherited ;) ) but having spent my working life in the world of finance, I know how long someone else's mess like this can take to unravel, and the fact that ING has managed to get money back to the vast majority of KE customers in such a short time span is nothing short of miraculous.

To those who are still waiting for their money to come through, think about this ...

Who made the choice to deposit with KE ... YOU DID

Who ignored the warning signs ... YOU DID

Who failed to get their money out in time ... YOU DID

Now take some responsibility and thank the organisation that is now saving your sorry !!!!!!, because without them, you wouldn't even be looking forward to a payment now.

    Dave.

To Dave "the troll" - this thread is for people waiting for a transfer from Kaupthing, to enable them to express support and to act together if necessary. This subject doesn't seem to apply to you, so please go elsewhere and find some other people to try and wind up. Thanks.

I have not been a party to the 'negativity,' but am offended by this comment.

Who made assurances on TV about monies by cob 17/10 ... ING

Who made assurances on radio about monies by cob 17/10 ... ING

Who made assurances on the website about monies by cob 17/10 ... ING

Who was paid to take over KE savings ... ING

Whose officials continue to say that ALL monies were made 17/10 ... ING

Who will loose potential customers over this ... ING

At the end of the day, the guarantee would have covered us, so what a bonus for ING.

£3,087,033 from 93 CHAPS (value given for 90 transfers) initiated transfers that have not arrived in linked accounts.

    PM or email lovelife42
@hotmail.co.uk if you want your details added to the database. (Do you know how much I'm really hoping this is wasted time and effort come Monday?!)

As asked earlier - I can confirm that CHAPS transfers have not been received by 13 banks (list a few posts back)

To confirm - it is not double requests or any such thing - everyone who's sent the info to me made a single request for a CHAPS transfer as far as I can tell. I know we made one request via the website. Don't let any customer services rep tell you differently

    Keep smiling

Please add me to your list.

    Several 10’s of thousands.
CHAPS to Halifax. Sent 7th Oct. Appeared on statement 8th Oct
    Still not received 18th Oct
    £20 deducted for CHAPS transfer.
KE account empty, all but £1.

What a load of bull!!! ..............If ING had came out from the onset with total transparency of what lay ahead, this thread would be a whole lot shorter!!

The reason most people have got the hump is because, their money was actually missing - not in KE, ING nor the bank it was inteded for!! Additionally, no one from KE or ING could shed any light on what was going on!...............Look back over the past 10 days, when did ING start to update their site with so called news in our favour???? .....All they done at the beginning was plug some pathetic advertising with absolutely no comprehension of peoples fears :mad::mad:

    NUMPTY!!!
