Maybe those wanting to email from now on can emphasise that there seems to be missing transfers across all banks - not just Barclays, in my instance.
tmvc2007 - can you confirm number of banks?[/quote]

Is it people who requested CHAPS transfers or people who requested repeat transactions or people who had fixed term savings???
.....edited out.........
Here here.......this is very worrying, because ING can drag this on and on.....
I mean so far, they can claim thry have done a superb job, and in a way they have for reuniting a lot of people with their money. However, for the rest of us, they have done beggar all. There must be a way of forcing the issue! I mean whether it is people who asked for CHAPS or people who made the transaction twice or people who closed their accounts or those who transferred out of fixed rate deal, none of it is neither here nor there.
WE NEED A FIRM DATE WHEN THE REMAINING TRANSACTIONS WILL BE COMPLETED, IRRESPECTIVE OF WHCH CATEGORY OF TRANSACTIONS THEY FALL INTO.....Illegitimi non carborundum

Dave, i threw the idea out there earlier and a few people thought it was a good idea. im sure ING are doing their best and im probably trying to keep my mind occupied - i agree i've probably got too much time on my hands this weekend but if it keeps people's spirits up great. i can soon take it down if enough people think it's a dumb idea.
ps - i'd rather not have this 'fame' atall but until the money comes in im stuck here.
Fair enough Luke but I do get sick of all the negative comments in this thread aimed at an institution that has taken on a major task ... sorting out someone else's mess ... and who are doing it as quickly as possible.
I have no connections or dealings with ING (other than £1 left in my KE account that they have now inherited) but having spent my working life in the world of finance, I know how long someone else's mess like this can take to unravel, and the fact that ING has managed to get money back to the vast majority of KE customers in such a short time span is nothing short of miraculous.
To those who are still waiting for their money to come through, think about this ...
Who made the choice to deposit with KE ... YOU DID
Who ignored the warning signs ... YOU DID
Who failed to get their money out in time ... YOU DID
Now take some responsibility and thank the organisation that is now saving your sorry !!!!!!, because without them, you wouldn't even be looking forward to a payment now.

Whilst I'm glad that some people have been reunited with their long lost savings, it's highly frustrating that people (myself included) who requested transfers via the supposedly instant or at least quicker CHAPS seem to be waiting the longest. It's even more infuriating that we paid for this privilege! (Had I known, I would have requested my transfer via BACS!)
And to add insult to injury, those who originally requested transfers via BACS have received their money via CHAPS anyway!!
I
I realise ING have inherited a mess, I just wish they would be more transparent about their processes...[/quote)
I have emailed our dear friend Alastair asking that we get a message on the website reassuring those of us whose CHAPS transfers have disappeared that they are working on the problem.0 -
£3,087,033 from 93 CHAPS (value given for 90 transfers) initiated transfers that have not arrived in linked accounts.

As asked earlier - I can confirm that CHAPS transfers have not been received by 14 banks (list a few posts back plus the Halifax)
To confirm - it is not double requests or any such thing - everyone who's sent the info to me made a single request for a CHAPS transfer as far as I can tell. I know we made one request via the website. Don't let any customer services rep tell you differently

Hi to all who have been kept waiting for their transfers. I was one of the lucky ones who got their money yesterday but I am outraged that no everyone did, as promised.
Yes, I am sure that the money will show up but nothing compensates for the amount of stress that this messy business has caused. If they had said that all money would be transferred on, e.g. Monday 20th, then we would have accepted that. It is cruel to say the money would be through when there was a chance they couldn't deliver for sure. We all work hard for our money and this has taken a great toll on all of us. Even at this stage I keep checking to see that it hasn't been transferred out of my current account again, stupid but this has made me a bag of nerves.
I went out last night with my family for a meal and stayed the night. It took me a couple of hours to settle into it and I don't think I was the best of company. After a few glasses of wine I was a lot better but the first thing I thought of this morning was this. Now that I am home again, I just wanted to see how you were all doing and to send you my positive vibes. Try to enjoy the rest of your weekend and hang on in there.0 -
