helloboo, I thought I was doing the right thing. I was lucky I did know that the amount would be protected below £50k. So I didnt try to move it. Just thinking about moving it shortly if the interest rates are changed for the worst. Trying to decipher which banks are joined and which arent.0

just spoke this second to a nice bloke from ING. He says they think that the BACS transfers have been dealt with first (possibly) and they are now dealing with the CHAPS transfers, as some customers who used BACS have recieved their cash, and those of us who used CHAPS heve not! He reassured me that it should all show up by Monday. We shall see!0

Now standing at £2,519,269 from 76 transfers (amounts disclosed in 73). I have just made life miserable at ING customer services - very surprised to hear I knew facts about so many transfers but no joy, just usual platitudes so far - though I did speak to alot of people (I think they hoped I'd fade into the ether). However, was informed that no assurance could be given that any CHAPS initiated transfers from the 'transition period' had arrived in linked accounts. Being able to quote all the different banks very useful. Next stop KE -although in reality, noone with any real power is going to be in work on a Saturday (I was told that too)CHAPS 8th Oct Rec'd 20th Lloyds TSB0

Just been on phone with Alasair HemmINGS!! He is the customer relations manager at Ingdirect. He has said today that he has been told from the powers above that all transactions have been completed but sadly he was only regurgitating what's on the update.I got the feeling he didn't know anymore than the customer services team.He couldn't even tell me when they stopped processing transactions yesterday!I asked him to try and organise an update to put people out of some of their misery. Can only do if the web page staff are in he said.He was in his office 20 mins ago.His phone no. is 0118 9381952.His e mail address is alastair.hemmings@ingsdirect.co.uk.0

ING just sais on Radio 4 that 90% of all money has now been transfered back to the linked accounts, the other 10% are going to have to be done manual for one reason or another there staff are all on overtime to sort it as quickly as possible?
Hang on in there.0
