tx TypeR - read back a few pages and it seemed mostly CHAPS not sent. Wonder if they're busy earning interest on the missing money

Got all my money back now but i wish i left it in, will be puting it back in today, hope i can still catch the 7.15% before it goes.

Mine was a CHAPS, but they didn't deduct the fee from my balance, so I can only assume it was a BACS in the end.

My mums was a CHAPS, they deducted her fee but she hasn't got her money either.

There is just no sense or logic in the failures, in my experience above.

Are all of you guys trying to get money out that was supposed to be being transfered before ING took over. I have 45k still in my account that I have not tried to take out. I have left in KE/ING account . Have any of you experienced problems transfering money after the take over date?

nibi most people on this thread lost their money between accounts - ie it left KE but did not arrive in link account so lost in the ether. There is no rhyme nor reason as to who has got their money yet but it seems the CHAPs trnsfers did the worst. It may be wise to leave your money where it is till the dust settles but please don't do that on my say so!

This is an ingenius idea, what you could do is promise to pay him on say ...I dunno, a Friday and then NOT actually do it! You can blame BACS for a delay and inform him it SHOULD be with him on Wednesday, all the while you're creaming off the interest.

Yes we are, If i'd have know ING were taking over I would have left it. I just decided to move the money out when my Icesavings went down. My advice would be to leave the money where it is, unless you need it of course!

Wait until this chaos dies down, trust me it's not nice having money floating about.

I have 163K still not turned up in my lloyds account from 3 seperate chaps last week, getting worried........
