    I think there's a slight concern here that ING do not have the first idea what "everything" actually is.

    You should also email Working Lunch. As I already posted, Declan mentioned this issue on 15/10 and invited viewers to let them know if the promised transfers don't happen.

    PAYMENT UPDATE

    We have been working hard to restore normal service for Kaupthing Edge customers and resolve the issues around delayed payments.
    In addition to the payments already made, we are now able to confirm that all payments will arrive in their destination bank account by close of business Friday 17 October. There are a very small number of manual payment instructions which are still being processed and which will take slightly longer
  • I certainly hope you are right. I was posting that kind of hopelessly optimistic c**p myself about Friday 17th earlier this week.

    You will note that the update on the ING site is now non-specific waffle about clearing the backlog. No more deadline dates. If I had a choice (and hopefully I will soon), I would not trust them with a penny of my money.

    That's what's so irritating about speaking to people at ING today. They seem to have completely lost sight of the fact that it's our money we are having to fight for. It's not like we are going into M&S and finding they are repeatedly out of underpants despite assurances of "stock coming soon". It's our money ING!


    Please supply your chaps transaction details to writer tmvc2007......the writer will send a query to ING.....so ING can provide an explanation of what has happened to each transaction.

    CHAPS 8/10 received Halifax 20/10
    BACS 18/11 (£30) (actioned 19/11) received CHAPS Halifax 21/11
    BACS 24/11 (£50) (actioned 25/11) received Halifax 28/11

    My CHAPS tx was 9.00am 7/10. No show.

    Actually, there is a bit of wriggle room in that statement

    1. It doesn't say Friday 17 October 2008
    2. Their definistion of "all payments" might not be equal to the total number of attempted withdrawls from KE.

    Hopeless....
  • I can't take this anymore my whole live saving has gone they've made allsorts of assurances and my £200k+ still hasn't arrived, familys future at stake maybe if i do this it will hilite everybodies plight, and maybe my family will get money after I've gone......
