If we end up with two different threads, it will get very confusing. I’ve seen it before.
How about: ‘The new Kaupthing CHAPS and BACS transfer thread’.
It will include all the BACS interlopers.0 -
It’s up to the mods to close the thread. Hopefully they’ll do it seamlessly and open the new one at the same time, so we all know what’s happening. I have already emailed them to this effect.

There is a lot of info in here. I'm glad you have thought about it.....Illegitimi non carborundum

Although some cash is getting through it sounds as though it is only small stuff. I draw the conclusion from this pattern that they have insufficient liquidity to pay the big stuff in one go so will keep us strung along over several more days.
Why oh why can't they offer us the return of the funds back into our KE accounts to cut all this nonsense out. It would be a trivial mattter to just credit us back and then invite us to withdraw if we so wished. It would save them buckets of cash, cheer their customers up and help retain what they have just bought. Surely they dont want a load of empty accounts at the end of this saga?
I wish one had someone in authority to talk/write to at ING.

I'm pleased to say that my current account received an advance-scheduled BACS withdrawal from my Kaupthing Edge account; I can't remember exactly when I requested it but I'm sure it was over a week ago. I'm even more pleased to say that the withdrawal was processed on the requested day, and the money came through on the day I had originally intended. It wasn't even as much as one day late!
So, correct me if I'm wrong here anyone, but it seems that any new transactions that are requested right now, plus any which have been scheduled in advance to take place around now, are going through as normal. The only transactions which are still having problems are those which were raised as immediate withdrawals around the beginning of last week.
I'm a happy Kaupthing Edge customer. :j I do hope that the rest of you whose transactions seem to have gone funny manage to get your money back, though.0 -

It maybe that due to the sheer volume, they cant change tack now. But they have transferred quite a lot of accounts of 20,30 40K. Not all have been small sums.....Illegitimi non carborundum

From the few appearances of "Bankers" in the media since this all began I think they really don't care. They've all had us over big time and have their pots full. Now they don't care and are just leaving those below them to deal with the problems before they have to leave. See RBS, HBOs etc, etc, etcCHAPS 8th received 20th into HSBC A/CBACS on the 17th and 20th received 22nd into HSBC A/CCHAPS fee refunded 29/10I can survive any crisis - I have kids!!0 -

That’s the way things normally work. Welcome to the real world. :eek:0 -
I've not trawled through all of todays postings, but looks like from I have seen that I lot that had CHAPS not received.
Just to let you know that I had two transactions oustanding, both BACS. One was received but the other hasn't been. the one which I've not received was requested earlier than the one that was. So its not just CHAPS. I'm sure all will turn up in due course.
Not helpful for you but helpful for me I'm afraid is that it was the larger one which did turn up today.
Best of luck.0
