  • I feel like such an idiot. I have been a supporter of ING on this thread and simly could not believe they would put a date of 17th of October out there and then not deliver.

I have not recieved any payemnt today and am now getting the brush off from ING about how it should be in there by Monday.

I'm done with them. They should change their name to LIE-NG, Cheif Executive Johan de Half-Wit or whaterver his name is.

    What a bunch of sheisters

What can we do to get from ING, an explanation first of why the broken promisses, and then a new date when the problem will be resolvd?....Any proposals?

I spoke to KE about 5.30pm this evening and they checked my account. Apparently I am one of the "manual payments" as the system did not work for me and a member of staff had to put it through. They can't tell me when I am going to get my money. Due to pregnancy, no alcohol allowed. Back to the chocolate then :-(

Been out all day, checked my account this morning and nothing through; however, just checked again and received both BACS from last Tuesday and Wednesday sport-smiley-001.gif

Not got time to read all through the thread since this morning, but really hope everyone/most of you have also had your money.

    MANY THANKS TO ALL OPS
  • I just spent 20 minutes harsassing a supervisor called Tom at ING and he was incapable of telling me anything. He said "I can confirm all the transfers have been made" So I asked him if he could categorically confirm that 3k had been transferred to Nat West account xxxxxx31 and he backed off a bit at that point. Basically they have no idea

He couldn't really explain why a BANK would not have trifling details like the amounts and account numbers that the transfers had been made to.

He then had the bare faced cheek to say they had honoured their commitment to the 17th in that they had SENT all the payments (even though he clearly doesn't know if that's true) and tried to blame the recieving banks for not processing it in time.

I'm sure the money will come but it's pretty lame all round from LIE-NG

Sorry I don't follow this. What difference has this made?
I cleared my account to 0 and haven't seen my money yet.

The difference is that if you did what I did and phone up and requested a closure of account, KE are saying (as previously posted in #3095) that these transactions are manual and will, therefore, not be carried out until after they've cleared the backlog of staightforward withdrawals.

That is, until some mathematical bright spark comes up with some other clever-!!!!!! derivative scheme to con us all out of our money by suggesting we convert our building societies into banks for a couple of hundered give-away shares....... ohhhhh..... did I say something possibly untoward there - hope I didn't offend the lurking journos and banker chappies who MUST be reading this blog / forum....

I keep on saying "sorry" for my posts - but Jeezzzz, as my nick says, I AM Mad !

Or some form of insurance policy linked to a mortgage that was almost certain to make you money as well as paying off your mortgage.

    Anybody got any others?

"I've been assured my 7th Oct CHAPS into Barclays will be visible in my account on Monday by end of business, so will wait and see. May as well be optimistic I suppose!!!"
  • I've had !!!!!! all too. Waiting on two very large sums, both via CHAPS.

1st on left account week last Tuesday, the other week last Thursday (after fixed interest accounts were closed). Got zilch!

Did them all online so no manual intervention but my theory is that big sums have just been put to the bottom of the pile. Has anyone got more than 75K transferred today?

I actually left some cash in ING and am now thinking of drawing the lot out - only trouble seems to be getting it.

    Anyone had big sums today?
