Kaupthing Edge CHAPS Transfer

So, it looks like it's chaps close to the transfer of accounts to ING which have not been paid.

Two theories: 1. Conspiracy, Something has happened to the funds in the accounts that were open between tuesday close and wed 2.0pm when ING took over. Has Kapu parent bank got them? Has HM Gov got them? Why hasn't ING released them if they have them?

or 2. !!!!-up. In the transfer have the records been lost? Don't the IT systems of the two banks work the same?

Hope its no 2. or we could still be waiting until ING finds some more cash

Hi folks, Sorry to hear that not all payments made it through.

For myself, BACS transfers made on 6th, 7th, 8th October all arrived in my TSB account this afternoon. They have a cryptic number beside them, part of which is "RBOS" (clearing bank?).

There are thousands of people who did not get their transfers from the failed bank Kaupthing Edge Today. Despite assurances on their website:
It looks like this is all the people who tried to move their monies via the CHAPS system just before the bank failed haven't received anything.

Have been looking at this thread along with one on another website my CHAPS transfer made at 12.30pm. on 7th. still not received.It seems to me that quite a lot of people who made BACS transfers have got their cash but few if any have had anything from CHAPS. Any ideas why ? Another spoilt weekend anyway !!!
