Just checked with First Direct and my money has arrived!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Couldn't tell me if it was BACS or CHAPS but it's there, that's the important thing.

Can I just echo other posters comments about the value of mutual support.

just got off phone to nationwide, no sign of my CHAPS requested 7/8th for 20K. Getting really desperate now, but congrats to all who can now sleep at night.

I am still waiting for 8/10 bacs transfer to go into my alliance and leicester account. anybody else waiting for it to show up in alliance and leicester.

Just recieved two CHAPS transfers of £35000 each in to my HSBC account in the last hour. Good luck to everyone who's still waiting, I wasn't expecting mine to go in as original transfer was bacs and nothing was showing in the system. Thanks for all the good humour and support over the last few days, I'll be hanging around and hopefully trying to support everyone else who's waiting..x

Just spoke to ING - man said that they are carrying on there until 6pm pushing through the transactions. Those that go through nearer to 6 may not show up in our accounts until Monday. I asked why original CHAPS didn't seem to be coming through yet. He said he didn't know -but I wasn't the first person to have phoned about that. He said both BACS and CHAPS are definitely being processed until 6pm

I was following this thread since last Tuesday, Oct 7th evening when I did BACS. It was debited from KE on Oct 8th but did not appear in HSBC linked account. It was quite tough week, but looking at this forum found that I am not the only one going through all this. Good News !!! is that in last 1 hour, money has finally arrived in linked account and I am feeling so relieved. Ing is definitely working on what they promised us, and those who have not yet, should receive their money back soon, lets hope for the best.
