In all seriousness, is this not horribly reminiscent of last Friday when we were all sad not to have got our money but theought, hey - it'll come Monday....

If it doesn't come tonight who knows when we'll see it.

mletters, I initiated BACS & CHAPS on the 7th and 8th resp., the BACS arrived this morning 12:00AM and still waiting for the CHAPS, offffff Abbey is so slow in processing CHAPS

Just recieved two CHAPS transfers of £35000 each to HSBC in the last hour. Originally requested bacs. Never been so relieved in my life. Good luck to everyone else who hasn't recieved thiers, don't give up hope I EAS

Mines finally in too! 36k BACs on the 6th has arrived in my Barclays acc. Im in Australia at the mo so have stayed up late to check, and without that money I would have had to end my travelling early so relieved I can finally wander on.

No more chasing the highest rates for me methinks, I may just take it down the casino instead!

Now its just my 3k from the Icesave ISA....

No please don,t say that,I did,nt even know it was just a chaps thread,just looked for help when KE went bang on the forum.I did a baccs through sheer panic after Icesave collapse,never even thought to do a chaps.so no insight on my part.We are saying 'hang in there'because I would want someone to be there for me if I was still waiting,I don,t know anyone else in real life who used KE,so felt so alone,if it is irritating posters who are waiting,I can understand that though but in no way is anybody being a cool guy and saying chill.Today has been the worst day for me,even after news of KE going under,because Luke you have been fantastic on this thread and I am one of the weedy guys,you have gone out there for people like me,I have read your info before reading news ok.So am sticking this thread out, a BACCS transfer er or not,I do need to know people like you have received savings ok because I consider it a small thing to do for someone who has helped us KE savers.x

Spoke to Karen at ING Direct who now acknowledges that they can't keep their promise to have fund in accounts by end of today.

Claims that they will be there on Monday.

When challenged on a few things, her response was "Well, you can't believe everything that you read in the papers."

And we can believe ING.....??
