Requested evening of 6th by BACS
Received today to Halifax [so they do update during the day] sometime between 1pm and now. By CHAPS.

Milky bars are on me apparently.

Keep with it everyone - hoping everyone's money comes through.

had some money with ING until about two weeks ago but pulled it out as it was clear after the Iceland farce that other smaller countries would be next.

Now have small amounts with the following:

HSBC
Smile (Coopertaive)
Birmingham Midshires (HBOS)
Abbey (Santander)
Egg (Citigroup)
NS&I

Just trying to doversify and spread risk as much as possile betwen Briitsh and well capitlaised/safe global players.

ING capitalisation surely isn’t an issue, I thought the funds being paid to KE a/c holders was being paid by the UK Treasury

But why in the name of God are they sending through BACS by CHAPS while ignoring the majority of those of us who requested CHAPS in the first place??

Just checked ny BOS current account, and my KE BACS request submitted on 6th Oct has just come through on a CHAPS transfer.

I have to say I think ING have done a good job, if it were not for them taking over KE I would have been waiting months for this money. It cannot have been easy for them if they still cannot access individual KE accounts and they still have their original business to eun.

Hopefully all the others waiting will also see a CHAPS transfer coming into their account today.
