some businesses have deals where they can do free chaps over 5K, that maybe why we have been told chaps payments will be re -funded

Well, this is not what I was told. I was told that 95% are on their way via BACS system. Also told if not there by Monday to phone KE

I was one of the lucky ones, having been paid last friday, BUT (and it's a big BUT!) I still have £57K in Icesave. Could all of you wonderful people who post here AND have money in Icesave transfer to one of the relevant Icesave threads.

Morning everyone. Sorry Martins closing this thread. It really been a lifeline.
Just phoned Halifax, they cant tell me if anything coming into my account tomorrow, they say only clearing banks can do that. But they did say that if it didnt show on my account tomorrow a.m then I would have to wait till monday for it to show. OR NOT.

Someone asked me if my transfer showing as arriving at First Direct Fri am was bacs or chaps? I've just phoned First Direct again, a: to make sure I wasn't dreaming and b: to check payment method.

Mine is coming in by bacs and yes it is definitely showing as a credit into my linked account of £11 thou which is the exact amount I moved Tue 7th (by bacs).

Just spoke to KE , only savings accounts being actioned tomorrow , term deposit accounts taking longer and no idea yet when payments being made

Ohh exciting news! How is it the banks get prior notice before the money arrives? Why doesn't the money just arrive, sounds a real shambles.

I've had no news nor payments.

Why is the thread going to be closed by Martin? Bit odd... perhaps pressures from banks? Most threads just get old and disppear pages behind, but most are still active, you can always dig out an old one and post if you wanted to....

You're lucy elbe. I did my transfer on the evening of 6th, so it went from my KE account on 7th. Im with FD too, but mine isn't coming in tomorrow
