I agree, I did my (£12.5k) BACS transfer on Sunday evening and spoke to my bank this evening, there's no sign of the money coming in yet (I believe banks usually see the incoming transfer a day or so beforehand) but I'm not panicking just yet. The above regarding never losing a transaction in the BACS/Swift transfer system is reassuring, because obviously from our viewpoint, the money disappears for a few days and it's easy to imagine it slipping through the cracks and getting lost.
My guess, as I mentioned in another thread, is that ING were lining up this takeover possibly over the weekend or early this week, so to facilitate an accurate valuation of KE, the transactions out of accounts were quietly put on hold at some time on Tuesday, but the front end us consumers see carried on "working" as normal showing money going out, so as not to immediately panic people as happened with IceSave once their accounts were visibly frozen.
If Im still without my money on Friday I may feel slightly differently, but given the undoubted large influx of withdrawl requests, its only natural to expect there to be a backlog of some sort.My Excel Mortgage Calculator Spreadsheet: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=11571730 -

Has anybody had a successful chaps transfer from ke to their linked account???????0

did anyone do a bacs transfer last week that has come thru? I'm expecting mine to arrive Friday0

Add me to the list too - I might be the latest yet.
Requested a chaps this morning (Wednesday) about 11 a.m.
Took a screen print of the account at about 4 p,m, after the ING announcement, feeling happier because the situation seemed to be resolved. No sign of the transfer but I wasn't surprised as I thought it had been shelved in the circumstances.
Just looked at the account - 11 p.m. at night, and it's now showing, but apparently bacs not chaps as no £20 fee.0 -
Add me to the list too. I made a BACS withdrawal Monday evening and my account showed that money left Tuesday morning showing just £1.00 left and hoping to appear it on my current account tomorrow or friday.0

Yeah me sort of-- if you look at post 129 about page 7 I think0 -
My 31K chaps transfer I initiated this morning is now showing in my transaction list, along with the £20 fee, so my balance is now reduced accordingly.
To me, this shows that the system is working, albeit much more slowly because of the weight of transactions being put through. I expect the funds will turn up in my linked account tomorrow or Friday latest. I will let you know when they do.
Ironically, had I known about the ING bail out, I would have left the money in there! The Dutch guarantees seem just as solid (if not more so) than the UK ones!

I too requested a CHAPS transfer of £5020 pounds to my linked account this morning, way before the stated deadline of 2pm. No sign of it yet in my linked account.
