Calm down and get a grip.
You might justify that remark ?0 -
Guys, as I posted on another forum, I wouldn't be too worried.
I am sure our money is either in KE (ING) or the destination bank. There is no "ether" for it to disappear into.
I used to work for BEA (whose software runs the SWIFT and BACS networks) and in the *trillions* of pounds of business processed, not 1 single transaction has ever been "lost"!
If its not showing up in either account then it just means they haven't put the transaction through yet. I am 99.9% confident they will either (a) put the transaction through later (in a day or so) and your money will arrive at the destination bank or (b) reverse out the transfer request and credit your KE account again.
I can't see the money just "disappearing". Hang on in there!
Bumping this in case others have missed it - he talketh the truth :T
For those that are wondering what ING's stance on all this is, the following pdf has been made available on the now (rebranded) Kaputhingwebsite:

Can I go on the list (I did ask before but there are a lot of requests here!) please?
Just checked my KE account. I transferred most of my money yesterday evening by BACS and it has just left the account, which is normal given that it was later in the day. So I am optimistic about it all going through as usual.
I see they've updated the front page to include the info about ING Direct too.somewhere between Heaven and Woolworth's0 -
Why did I call myself THE WORRIER!!!
Yesterday our log in was blocked so we phoned at about 7.40pm and did a telephone transfer using CHAPS and were told it would be in our bank by close of business today - the girl at KE had the cheek to ask us why we were transferring our money!!!!!!! large amount - life savings - no money in Barclays as yet and it looks as if still in KE - so today tried to do another transfer using our login and foolishly forgot about the CHAPS fee so now will be overdrawn in a savings account - can anyone put our mind at rest so we may sleep tonight - we didn't sleep at all last night.
Hoping for some good news - there seems to be mixed views on the forum.0 -

I have reported the offensive post by a very new poster who may not have had time to learn etiquette yet!
thank you to all who try to help and offer support; at least one feels more hopeful and less isolated.0 -

We all feel it is just a matter of time before we get our money back. List is being made to help each other out and inform each other better who are in similar situation. If things get worse we will work together to get our money back. Some ppl like with thick skull just doesn't get it. Its a Pity!
