:cool: CAN I BE ADDED TO LIST AS WELL PLEASE? Hubbie transferred 4000(ssimply for a car purchase) on sunday evening to link account- told would take 3 working days- money gone from Kauphing Edge account but not in linked account yet! Am not even going to worry about other 30,000 in there yet!!0

I initiated a BACS transfer of £25k on Sunday 5-Oct and KE showed it as leaving the account. However, it still hasn't arrived in my linked account.
Out of interest, I also tried an additional £100 transfer yesterday and I got the BAC confirmation screen up which I printed, however, my KE account balance does not reflect the fact that £100 has been withdrawn so I have no idea if this smaller transfer will go through.0 -
Me too, first tried to CHAPS last Thursday (2nd). Been on the phone to them loads of times, they keep saying the recieving bank is rejecting but they say they haven't seen or rejected anything.0

I do see from a link in a previous post that INGDirect has announced that it has taken over KE's savings deposits which I had not seen and thanks to the particular poster for that. Apparently we are to continue using our accounts as normal!
I think we should all follow rhinestonemaiden's example and tell the chief exec that if the transfers have not completed by cob this Friday we will be closing our accounts and also removing any other savings accounts we have with ING. Hopefully this may give them a kick where they need one.0 -

Hi, I made a transfer on Monday at about 1pm by BACS. No sign yet.
If it doesnt arrive tomorrow then I assume there is a problem.
The BACS system has apparently never lost a transaction so the money must arrive or go back to the initiating bank. Just like a bounced cheque.
Please add me to the list.
If KE are not processing things properly at the moment, which they appear not to be, then any rejected transfer may not show in the KE account until they (or ING) start processing things again in the correct manner.
The money will turn up, I am sure of it.0 -

Is there anyway to capture this from them formally so that we can take legal action against them in the future. It obvious they are lying and the BACS system can prove that especially as the various linked accounts will be with many different banks. Maybe we should start any conversation with them by telling them we are recording the call for legal reasons and expect them to be truthful with respect to the information they provide during the call.0 -

Mine was successful. Requested at around 12:30pm, Monday (so before the 2pm cut-off for CHAPS). The £ 30K was in my Natwest account by Tuesday morning.0
