Today's been a downer... seems very unfair that nobody's received their money today after Friday's. Gimme strength!

Remember our UK government guarantees have been removed and replaced by a "passport scheme" from a different foreign government.

Funny you should say that, but I've just started a bank at 16.30, all you need to do is just send the money, interest rate is not good but your money is safe with me!!!

I've just had a thought ...could they be doing it by amount order rather than date order....ie holding on to the larger amounts till last ...more interest for them ...or am I being cynical again? would be interest ing to know if all that are left waiting have amounts larger than say 15 or 20K ..for me it's £31,733 AND 97 pence

just read on here that KE chaps clearances were through RBS!
Are those who have received payments bacs ones rather than chaps?

I did mine in two lots by CHAPS: £10k and £4k on 8/10. No sign yet...

Anyone had any luck tracing their KE BACS transaction ID??

I made transfer last week and was expecting funds to be available in recipient bank today. Still not there, I spoke to KE today who refused to even go into my account to trace the payment. So, I spoke with ING who said they could not look into my acccount to trace the payment and then I spoke with recipient bank who first said they could, then said they couldn't trace incoming BACS payments...

    Confused and frustrated....and worried.

    Anyone ??
I had to go into my bank today to pay in a cheque. I mentioned I was still waiting for two bacs transfers from Tues 7th Oct, they looked on the system for me and nothing was pending, this was around 2pm. I have just recieved a call from HSBC (4.30pm) saying they were going to keep an eye on the situation for me and call me as soon as anything shows up on the system. Not sure if they will see what I can see from the internet or if they would be able to see things happening prior to it appearing on my online banking. Anyhow was very impressed with the lady at HSBC.
