Some people were receiving CHAPS payments from Icesave and KE a few weeks ago later than 7pm in the evening...

Oh No! Does that mean I will be on-line checking my balance all evening... there's a double Corination Street on too...

I had 17K of bank fraud back in April :( It's been one of those years!
Poor you...hope you got that sorted...........I suppose we should remember that at least we had some money to move around the ether!.. Some people can only dream of having anything left at the end of the week! And I've been there too, and will probably go there again if I can't find another job:eek: ...so I know what that feels like!

Still trying to get some compensation out of the bank ....:rotfl:  Don't suppose they have much cash to spare at the moment!
  • 500k/35k (at the time) = 14 bank a/c's, I have more than that, as posted numerous times on this board and others ie, what to do with a house sale fund of £780,000, absolutely no sensible answers, other than spread it around ... Yawn! Then we read on this and other sites that Icelandic banks are safe, utra safe, yaber yaber

As I stated before, I (like 3 other posters at least here), have had a kick up the @rse over this worse week I can remember, when i get the money back, I will again be in the same situation, what to do with it! even the now 50K will leave us with looking for 15 so called safe accounts. At the moment I have 6 accounts with one being Heritable but no Icesave. So its easy to say these people are fools to go over the threshold, when even so called analyst and advisors cant help

The limit is £50,000 for UK banks, approximately £80,000 for Irish, unlimited for NS&I deposits. If you had a financial advisor that didn't mention any of these options, I'd look for another one.
I want to move to theory. Everything works in theory.
