  • I think they payed some people on Friday to keep the rest of us quiet and so we keep telling each other to site tight while they
-make interest on our money and we dont
-our money could suddenly disappear if they dont receive the gov money
-and they have stopped most of us from going to the media and calling up every few minutes finding out where our money is.

they are no longer under pressure to sort this out ASAP as we all have stopeed making a big noise
  • On the BBC website it says that the government is transferring our £50,000 compensation directly to ING, with anything above this made up by the treasury. This means we don't have to claim ourselves, which is what ICsavers will have to do. Maybe the compensation scheme payments is the hold up in our money coming through?

If it's trickling in, I guess it can only trickle out. And yes, I'm still waiting for my Wed CHAPS transfer.
    CHAPS 8/10 received Halifax 20/10
    BACS 18/11 (£30) (actioned 19/11) received CHAPS Halifax 21/11
    BACS 24/11 (£50) (actioned 25/11) received Halifax 28/11

    Stercus accidit:cool:
  • I know CHAPS payments can be credited up to 5.00PM (sometimes even later) , but I just get the feeling no-one's getting to get anything today...

(I know the money's "safe" , but after all the euphoria on here on Friday of people getting their money returned , I had hoped it would be my turn today !)

Anyone had any luck tracing their KE BACS transaction ID??

I made transfer last week and was expecting funds to be available in recipient bank today. Still not there, I spoke to KE today who refused to even go into my account to trace the payment. So, I spoke with ING who said they could not look into my acccount to trace the payment and then I spoke with recipient bank who first said they could, then said they couldn't trace incoming BACS payments...

    Confused and frustrated....and worried.

    Anyone ??

I know - me too! My mood keeps fluctuating from "hey, chill out - it'll all be fine, I'll get my money back" to "oh my god I have just potentially lost my life savings - I will never see that money again".
  • Still no sign of money in target account... Has anyone yet received money transferred by BACS on or after Tues 7th? Surely ING should continue to clear the backlog by CHAPS in the way they appear to have done for all transactions dating to Mon 6th.

Me too - cannot help feeling flat today as it nears close of business and no sign of my large BACS (from Monday PM last week)...

Maybe they are spending the working day processing them altogether while they have the staff and will put them all through in one go at the end of the day...

    Trying to be hopeful here...
