Thanks for that - hadn't noticed that message. I'll just carry on waiting (CHAPS on 8th am)

I did a BACS transfer on Monday 6th and the money is now showing in my linked account.. also did another BACS transfer on Tuesday the 7th but this is not showing yet, so it looks like they are processing these.

My CHAPS from the 7th Oct still hasn't appeared either - obviously a huge backlog, the poll has registered 112 with missing money so far: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1211421

I did a transfer last Sunday which should have come out my account on the 6th but didn't show as leaving it till the 7th ...can I ask you if yours actually showed leaving your account on the 6th? because I don't know if I am a Monday or Tuesday person ? ..I think I must be Tuesday as I have nothing yet

I read Martin's column in the N.O.T.W. yesterday and I am now wondering where my money is? I oringinally put in a request for a CHAPS transfer at around 8pm Tuesday 7th, didn't show at all on the 8th on my KE account, but did show up on the 9th on my account, but dated the 8th?? Martin's column suggests that withdrawls were blocked and that payments may be reapperaing in KE accounts, can't seem to get any information from KE or ING, guess I just have to sit and wait.......... but for how long??

I know its hard as I was in the same boat last week, but at least those of you still with money outstanding have seen the wheels moving on Friday, even if its not your own money that's being transferred. It may be easy for me to say now I have my money, but given that ING have said they're working through the backlog and proof of that happening appeared on Friday, I don't think its worth stressing yourself about just yet, as all indications are it will turn up in the next day or two.

Thanks for this. I'm nowhere near as worried as I was last week, considering loads of people have now had their awol cash returned, but there's still a little voice in the back of my mind telling me I could be unlucky!

Well back to sitting tight and checking my HSBC balance every 20 minutes!

My current account is with first direct so I have set up a text message alert to let me know when the transfer has arrived.

So I'm now just watching my mobile...

I did it on Monday 6th morning and it shows on my statement as leaving on the 6th. Looks like you were unlucky and got caught up in the back log.. or maybe i just got lucky with that transfer?!

Yeah, but that day would then be Wednesday. So if you're in this position, I wouldn't worry until then.

Although there are reports that ING has been putting everything through as CHAPS, so you might see it later today...
