Hiya

Has anyone who made a BACS transfer first thing on Weds 8 October received their money in their linked acc yet? Still nothing for me.

Sorry if this question has already been asked and answered but I haven't got much time to read old posts at the mo.

Requested CHAPS transfer Monday 6th. Left KE account around 10am on the 7th......still no money.

This is doing my head in.:eek:

ING have repeatedly stated that they're working on clearing the backlog and will honour all withdrawals ASAP. They have only had one working day so far of doing so, during which they processed all Monday BACS AFAICT - so I'd expect to see them continue to catch up today. You won't see any CHAPS transfers start to hit until the afternoon.

I made transfer out of KE on October 7th before 9am, and the statement reflected that automatically. No money in linked account yet. I am not too worried, as I think it will arrive eventually. £15k...

See my post above yours, of those who got money on Friday, I think Monday morning was the latest time any of those transfers were requested so I wouldn't expect anyone from as late as Wednesday will have theirs yet either, and it has to be said that even if things were running as normal with no collapse/takeover, you wouldn't have seen your money until sometime today anyway, as 3 working days from Wednesday is today.

I know its hard as I was in the same boat last week, but at least those of you still with money outstanding have seen the wheels moving on Friday, even if its not your own money that's being transferred. It may be easy for me to say now I have my money, but given that ING have said they're working through the backlog and proof of that happening appeared on Friday, I don't think its worth stressing yourself about just yet, as all indications are it will turn up in the next day or two.

Well, I know that the BACS system doesn't work at weekends, but I would have hoped that the staff at ING/KE would have been working all weekend to clear the backlog and have it all batched up and ready to go into the BACS system Sunday night - meaning we should all get our payments on the same day regardless of when they were initiated
