Judging by Fridays posts to receiving payments they didnt begin until 2.00pm so I guess thats when we expect to hear today! On a normal working day CHAPS can take about 3-4 hours to come through! It's just a waiting game!

No, nothing so far. I requested a closure by phone by CHAPS on Tuesday but full balance is still showing unchanged in the account. So I don't know whether closure request is in a backlog, or just disappeared.

If the posts are annoying you, then do yourself a favour and don't read the threads, afterall, if you've got the answer to it all, you don't need to, do you?

Chill - there's nothing you or anyone can do. Be positive, it doesn't have to be all doom and gloom. But I appreciate you being cautious and realistic. There's nothing to indicate any of the money will be lost or won't come good (yet), and hopefully there won't be - I know there wont be.

I know how it feels though, I've got 100k + lost in the system at the moment. But yeah...

Out of interest is it just CHAPS payments that are going through succesfully at the moment?

I made a BACS transfer last wednesday and so far nothing on the linked account.

Both BACS and CHAPS. Guessing when they go through their backlog, they will prioritize CHAPS, then do the BACS, or whatever was due quicker. I am waiting on a BACS and CHAPS for two large amounts of money (put into action last week, on Tuesday). Fingers crossed - good luck with it all. Stay positive and lets keep people updated on progress. :cool:

1, The date that you requested the money
2, The method of the request (CHAPS/BACS)
.. That'll help all of us still hanging on the line to work out when our money is likely to arrive
