Kaupthing Edge CHAPS Transfer

Not read much of this, but just posting to say that as far as I am concerned BACS was working normally on Wednesday 8th October.
Funds from Tesco/RBS arrived with Northern Rock on same day.
Funds from Ing Direct arrived with Lloyds TSB on Friday 10th as expected.
Hope you all manage to find the funds lost in cyberspace.

I moved my money out of KE before it was ING. If I knew ING was taking it over I would've left it in the account...:rolleyes:

Know just how you feel, we have kept ourselves busy all weekend and thought IF we get money back how will it change us. Think we been too wrapped up with saving, saving, saving just for that rainy day - not sure we been living the sunny day as much as we should.

Changed our perspective totally.

Wouldn't we all. I started off kicking myself too, but there's no way in the world we could have predicted this turn of events. Let's just hope we all have something to celebrate next week when our money (touch wood) turns up safe and sound, like the early-bird BACS transferors' did x:beer:

Well after feeling sorry for myself today because I am still awaiting for my money I went for a long walk to keep me occupied. Just returned from dinner with friends to settle down to a quiet evening. Feel more confident now and hopefully by this time tomorrow I will be reunited with my money.

I also have about 8,000 pounds left in the fixed account and I understand ING are going to honour the fixed terms rate that I enjoyed with KE.

Anyway fingers crossed for everyone who is still waiting for their money.

Anyone else covering-up for keeping coming back to this thread? Just told my lady that I'm searching for ideas to get a local post office back open. Hate myself for it! (Will log off to see Stephen Fry touring the US in a black cab, on TV at 9 o'clock, though.)

I would wait until all the transactions currently being tracked on this forum are done. That way you should get a normal CHAPS or BACS transfer......something we have a ll been dreaming of ;-)

Yes I am hooked to this thread, and I will be until I know my money's come through ... it's really good to know others are in the same situation, kept me sane over the w/e definitely.
