    Morning!

got 2 days off now!:j but have got loads to do! have cleaned right through the house this morning so far as due to working all weekend and yesterday it looked like a tip! Going for coffee later with Mum at the WI. Also got to prepare a cooling down routine for my Extend course. Have found the music just need some inspiration!

    Morning peeps

i`ve been MIA for the last two days as i`ve been so busy that the pc hasn`t been on at all. I did try to catch up at w*rk but it was very busy there as well so at the moment i`m still playing catchup with everyone.

I am very pleased to report that yesterday i managed to put up a new curtain pole all by myself :D It took ages because it was a long pole and i really needed someone to hold the opposite end but i finally managed it.
The coat hooks that need putting up are going to have to wait as i`ve decided to change where they are going to be and i need to get the gizmo to check that there are no pipes or cables behind where i need to drill, the people who it belongs to are away for 2 weeks so i shall have to be patient.

The weather here is miserable, all dark and drizzly. I hate gong out when it`s like this but i need to walk the monsters and then i`m at w*rk until late.

I can`t decide what to make for tea so i shall go and stick my head in the freezer for inspiration :D

Kathy - I mix sausagemeat with equal amounts of mince, add garlic, onions, chilli powder, breadcrumbs and a beaten egg and make meatballs. They are yum and i make a tomato sauce for them with a tin of toms and some garlic blended. I shall also steal redruby`s idea for a plait sometime soon as that made me feel hungry. :D

Floss - Aw what an awful thing for the cats :( I hope that they manage to find a good home close to where they are now.

Celyn - You have almost reached the light at the end of the tunnel, hope that your pc can handle the work.

Right i`m offski to read the meters, have another cuppa and empty the dw.
Head will be in the freezer right after :D

    Have a lovely day peeps.

    Morning all

Wet and windy here this morning, but not too cold.

Our plan today was a visit to the fruit and veg market, not so sure now though. perhaps if the rain eases off we can go later. DDs also want to go christmas shopping so perhaps that will persuade them.

Other than that, it's carrying on with the decluttering, and a quick tidy round really.

We have quiche for tonight, and chicken pasta bake for DD1.

    Have a good day all.

Feel really stressed cos DD's keep bickering even though they've been told a million times now to be quiet

    I know that feeling jet.

My DDs are always together and I would say that the bickering would be the one downside of home edding. I've taken to seperating them for at least an hour a day now, so they have a break from each other. It doesn't stop the bickering, but at least it seems to have reduced the amount of time I spend refereeing LOL!

Can't sleep properly at the mo, there's too much going round in my head, but I know there are lots of people a lot worse off than me:o
After the dreaded job centre i'm popping to ALDI then going to look after Dad whilst Mum goes out for a breather:D
Tonight it's the crAppy philosophy course, where he reads off a sheet and stumbles over his words all the time:rolleyes:  wot a prat!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Morning all,
Up early and made another start on book/paper work to hand into Accountant, spend most of y/day going through all cash accounts and need to move some. Our ISA's are currently with Icesave (Iceland banks are a bit shakey and are not FSCS) but will move them to Natwest as they are paying 6.67%. Will pop into the local branch today and fill out transfer forms, also open a C/A so we can get a debit card to use abroad without having to pay any handling charges. Luv to save.

Must close DH's Barclays bussiness account, I thought he had closed it, he retired in Jan but is being charged £15 a month, that's £150 he's payed this year for nothing.

Need to buy a ceiling light for latest bedroom make over, B&Q are giving £10 vouchers off a £50 spend, properbly do that tommorow as DH gets 10% off, I need some paint as the study is the next room to tackle, I'm dreading it.

ANNIES, you asked where I get my energy from,, Well I think I am sapping it from DH as he gets so tired so quickly. But he is doing fine, Thanks everyone for the best wishes. :A

Got some soup simmering and some chops marinating for dinner, will get some veg from the market today, I go there when they are closing then they knock out their produce for pennies.

Must take DH for eye test at 2.30.

    Off to catch up.

PENPIN, SMOKY, JACKI O, MARIE, ULICK, BSBABE, STEF. CANDY & DD & DDad (((((HUGS)))))

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Hugs to all

The weather here is absolutely dreadful and I am going to go and put the heating on soon, because I can't get little bear to keep his clothes on! I usually put the heating on about an hour at a time, just to heat through.

Little bear is having an early nap, he is under the weather with those teeth coming through still and a cold.

I have just popped in here to browse for recipes. I have a large quantity of bacon approaching the use by date at speed and I want to make soup, to freeze. I already know one good recipe, but I thought I would look out for some others. We shall also be having soup for dinner with bread from the breadmaker. For lunch I think fish fingers for little bear, and I must make something for myself. I have been forgetting recently.

So once the baby monitor is fully charged again, I shall pop off to the kitchen and do things.

    Hi sybil,

My favourite soup that includes bacon is Delia's minestrone but you'll find loads of recipes on this thread: Soup recipes
