Morwenna, earache is horrible, hope it goes away soon. I think holding the class back for 30 mins without notice is a bit irresponsible - as you say, parents worry and those children may also have to collect younger siblings. I would be inclined to contact the school & point that out. And even more relevant as the evenings draw in too.
Betheebee, what a worrying time for you, and not helpful when you get idiots like those on the other thread. Really hope you get it all sorted soon. I remember when I got a new mattress for my bed - the difference was enormous. I also have an old double quilt on top of it, under my sheet & that makes it feel even more snuggly. I love my bed

Beth, as you start to shuffle your money around, do remember to double check if a smaller institution is part of a larger one, as this may affect any future claims on the 50K compensation.
I hope that sorting out the account with Icesave doesn't take too long.

well goodness - here i am late again. In my defence I have had a very loooooooong day at w*rk. the court didn't finish till just before six - very annoying. I almost cried when I saw who I've got tomorrow - another tortoise :rolleyes: I will be taking my weekly shopping list to w8rk with me for the third day running tomorrow to try to get it done - all I can say is thank goodness for dd(23) and her freezer clogging junk fetish and seemingly endless supply of oven chips

haven't even read the thread properly but gather that there's been lots of falling about and only some of it in laughter. Hope you're all as well as can be expected
