Hi everyone,
Rarely manage to post now but try to read the thread most days.
Stories about falling remind me about taking DS and little friend to school when they were about five. I tripped and measured my length before getting up rather hurriedly and pretending it hadn't happened. Then I heard a little voice behind me saying "I didn't know mummies could fall over" followed by "Neither did I".0 -

I've been scaning through breaking news, it looks like Iceland government will bale Icesave out of the sticky stuff, won't bore you with finance details.
Didn't mention it as I didn't want to get thrown out of the Money Saving threads, I still do the OS as I always have and always will. I have been able to help all of my family with a cash gift and felt happy to do so.

My mum phoned and asked if I could have her dog for a while, as she has the Dr, which was fine, she was going to the shop on the way here, so I asked her to pick me up some veg for tonights dinner, and some spuds, she bought the biggest cauli, and cabbage you have ever seen, about 4 lb of carrots and a hugs bag of spuds for £4, so have done the veg for tonight and tomorrow, and made a huge pan of soup, had some for lunch and its delish, having a game of scrabble now till I collect DD, and its still raining

Afternoon all
I was sent home from work today, I know I've b*ggered up my shoulder, but the bursar panicked, thought I was having a heart attack, if I was I'd be safer at work, so someone could call 999. Still I'm making the most of the time & will work on my NVQ.
Fish pie for tea, all with YS fish.
Have a good afternoon.
Hugs Hester

I don' want to talk anyone into anything but my instincts are saying really strongly to get the flu jab done if we possibly can.
We were lucky last year that we did not get the very bad "Brisbane " strain of flu from Australia but I find it difficult to believe we will be lucky two years in a row.
Beth
Of course you are still welcome here!!!!! I still have savings in ING so a bit worried now. I did move most of it though.
Have sweet potato soup cooking in the Remoska and still need to make dough for rolls later.
Popping out to take books back to the library so see you all later."This site is addictive!"

Hester - hope that it isn't too painful, it was bound to happen sooner or later though. How long till your meeting with occupational health, hope you make it back to work by then.
Was just about to take the dog out, but the heavens have opened, it's like buckets of water being chucked from the sky, yuck!
Blueberry jelly is looking pretty good though, bubbling nicely!GC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000 -
Hester ((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))) Look after yourself. Hope you feel better soon.
KAAT LADY ((((((hugs))))))) Hope you feel better very soon as well. Ann Rupert is a very lovely(normally very good)x breed (half Norwegan forest) boy very loving. He is also one in 14 million-he was a fertile male tortie! added to that he has an extra cromosome and is classed as handicapped. When he tried to wee on my foot he was just being naughty as I had told him off for trying to chase Lucy(the old girl)he loves being cuddled and sung to, fears no one or anything, has the growl(there is a legend re the Norwegan Forest cat that their growl rids the forrest of the trolls that dwell within) and is also a star of a Vet school. Due to his conditions he has had papers written about him!!
have done some stock and a few bits of stuff. Oh yes and have got two HUGE spots just in time for tomorrow!!!!!!!!!
So will go and finish "the stuff" Take care nad have a good afternoon.
