jazzing up egg mayonaise

I mash mine with a fork but I grate quorn fillets to make a sandwich filling.0

I mush them. I don't mash them because when i mash potatoes they're smooth and not lumpy whereas the eggs are lumpy and more of a mush.
Add plenty of mayo and pepper so it's all sloppy, and serve with lots of lovely bacon on a baguette.0 -
I use the fork method, but thanks for the grater tip! If I had to do more than a couple of eggs I would prob use this way. then its a shake of salt a grind of pepper, add mayo and a dash of salad cream, few snips of chive or the tops of spring onions - as a sandwich filling its hard to beat!0

Maybe I'm weird as no-one else has mentioned using a knife???
I chop with a sharp knife in a mug or soup cup until it's in tinyish but uneven sized pieces!

Grating here too but weirdly I only just had a conversation with my mum a couple of days ago about how it had never occurred to her to grate eggs for mayo and was much easier and less messy it was than chopping on a board.0
