Maybe not, however if you just wanted to add a file from a friend's PC (eg a podcast) you can't do it without Sonicstage on his machine, and then there are rights problems (IIRC). It all depends what you are happy with. I get very funny if a machine has "features" to prevent me doing legitimate things with my files. Maybe this isn't a problem for you
The ipod (shuffle) is the same, but you can get around it using third party software. IMO the shuffle is far superior (and I am so not an apple fanboy, in fact I am embarrased of my shiny white player and keep it hidden at all times. I have however, never heard a better sounding player and such simple functionality)0 -
i had a sony card for a while it was good until i forgot about it and they started charging me high interest.0

got my mp3 player today, ordered 29/11, delivered via parcelforce, sig required for those that were asking!
not bad for a freebie, i can see a lot of these ending up on ebay!!0 -
SNAP again! Ordered mine the same day as yours and mine also got delivered today.
Only thing is, havent opened packaging as got my hands on a new version ipod shuffle and am more tempted to keep that and sell the sony on ebay.
The shuffle is just so diddy, makes the sony look like a brick in comparison. Although one concern I have is tht what with built in batteries nowadays both of them will give up the ghost at some point and only be fit for the bin0 -
