Just wondered if anyone has tried out there Sony MP3 Player. I dont know anything about them so I asked my daughter to test and load some music onto mine ready for my sons Christmas present. She says the music is not there etc etc. Is there any major difference to other MP3 players which she should have been aware of. Its times like this when I wish I was a bit more techy so could suss things out myself.

You need to use the SonicStage software provided with the mp3 player to load music onto it. Make sure you download the latest version off the web though as I understand there are a few problems with the software which comes with the player. Received mine today and loaded a few cd's onto it without any problems. It's a nice looking mp3 player. Excellent freebie. :j

just chased sonycard and was told my item is not dispatched. bit miffed as ordered 23/11 some people have ordered after me and have had their mp3 players over a week now. bit unhappy to be told to wait the full 28 days (which will be thurs this wk) and call back. doesn't seem fair, but i'll get over it!

Anyone who has ordered an mp3 player and not received it... they aren't expecting the next lot to get to them till the 18th of january 2007. had to speak to a manager there to be told this! Most excellent service, glad to know they operate on a first come first served basis! that will pretty much be 2 months wait! thought i'd let others in the same boat as me know.. this goes for violet and black versions.
spudgunner, i wouldn't give you a tenner for it, 512mb ain't exactly great... but it's worth it for free.

Just telephoned to cancel my Sonycard after receiving the free gift for opening and spending (spent £9.42)!! and they asked if I was aware that I had interest free purchases until February and 0% on balance transfers until November, I said I wasnt interested as there was a fee for BT's! She replied that she could waiver that for today!! So swiftly got my BT details (just transferred to Smart for 6 months) and got that transferred interest free until November 19th!!!

I too only signed up for the mp3 player, and got only 2000 points, however when I went to check the website I notice that the offer has changed to 4000 point. Now although I followed Martins link I can't honestly swear that the offer was showing 8200 points rather than 4000, I just know that it was more than 2000.

Does anyone know when the offer changed? I signed up on the 9th Dec.
