As far as I understand there is no minimum spend, you just need to 'use' the card.

I bought a new laptop on it so get 3mths int free. Waiting for my first sment now but guess I can then get the mp3 player.

Word of warning, they rang me up to go through my app and tried to flog me every type of insurance product under the sun. Did they not understand I just want my mp3 player?

I very politely but firmly just told them to please stop the marketing, I'm not interested, just activate my card (which is when I got all the upsell) or if it is a problem pass me to your manager.

A somewhat flummoxed person quietly activated the card and said "Thank you".

I have had this card for a good few years now.

MBNA internet site is brilliant.

Building up my points for a biggie one day : now have 50,000+

When you buy a big Sony item send away a copy of receipt to get 3x points.

Used to get SACDs for around 2000 points but they stopped doing them!?

Does anyone know if you cn view your sony points online, I've had a look round but cant see them.

Current Total is at the bottom of every MBNA statement that you receive.

I opened my account via the link in Martin's message about the card. I've used my card, but only got 2000 bonus points with it. Not the 8200 mentioned in the article.

If you are thinking of getting one, you may be better off going through greasypalm and getting the cash, as you may not get the extra points.

I applied and was told I didn't have enough of a credit history to be approved! The history that was there wasn't bad, just not enough debt apparently!

And all I wanted was the MP3 player, do you think they knew?

How do yu find out how many points? I've spent on the card, but cant find any mention of the points on the online account??

just phone up
