cant do remote by code but you can get a t28 cable and credit here for £15:

you could get it done remotly as its on vodafone but the code would be £15
or you can find someone with unlocking clip (like me) and get it done by post, or try local markets - should be between £5 -£10

I am not sure what the difference is -

What is remotely and will it open all to all networks?

What is unlocking clip, will I have to send you the phone?

remotly is when you give someone you imei number and they can obtain the unlocking code from that, and it will then work on all networks.
ulocking clip is a device that plugs into the phone to unlock it, so would need to be posted

I've a Sagem MYX-5 currently locked to Vodafone that I'm looking to unlock. Is it still a case of having to pay for it to be unlocked or are there codes out there for this model now??

I would contact Vodafone to see if they'd issue me with a code, but it's my Mums phone and to be honest I don't think she's ever had a great deal of credit on it as she found it too confusing on their tarifs - hence wanting to unlock and swap her over. Not sure they'd oblidge me??

And if I buy the data cable, so long as it's sepcific for the phone model, can it be used to unlock the phone regardless of where I purchase it? Seen so many around at varying prices I'm just not sure which to go for, it thats the route I have to take to unlocking.
