oh kiwi chick and tickle I know the feeling.
I think my dd 2yo best disaster was getting the lid off a tin of gloss paint and proceeding to spread it all over her self and my brand new carpet  Luckily I managed to get it off the carpet with a very large bottle of white spirit and the vax, It only took 2 days to get it off her compleately.

Then there the few times she has decided to wash her hair with vaseline, doesn't come out easily I can tell you.

Don't you just love kids

In the 1960's my DD and DS decided to decorate the newly painted walls and new curtains in their bedroom with zinc and castor oil cream....we used to put it on the little darlings bums to prevent nappy rash......It never came out of the curtains and even though we cleaned the wall with white spirit when we eventually papered it came through the paper, we ended up having part of the wall re-plastered....... I remined my DD of this when her little girl took her nappy off and decorated her cot and the wall with the contents!!!!!

Went up my mums today used her rayburn to make a tuna flan, it's in the fridge ready to be sliced and put in the freezer and some jam tarts.

I bought the pastry :o it was reduced to 40p in sainsburys last night. And I left her some jam tarts to poison sorry feed my dad tomorrow and we used up some the awful reduced sugar jam she had. It was so runny my dad painted the carpet with it. :rotfl:

Husband is down stairs making custard so we can have jam tarts. Yummm they where suppose to be for pudding but we were rather full after tea.

And went to the local shop to get husband some cough sweets and manged to get jars of lift lemon tea that my husband drinks for 30p each and they are in date until may next year normal price 89p each so 3 for the price of 1 :j

And parked somewhere in town today where I did not have to pay so that saved me 95p. Also bought two large pork and apple burgers from the butchers for a £1.

So not to bad a day apart from that I took £10 this morning and only now have £3.50 left

Oh and NO housework as I have been out almost all day.

    Yours

    Calley

  • Was going to start the grocery challenge to day but was allowed to go food shopping on my own. Blown entire months budget in one hit. Think I need to practise my self control and be supervised by a grown up. Will try harder.

I know it's technically not the 1st anymore - haven't had a chance to post until now :o

Busy day at work - lots of little jobs to do but I think they're finally realising I am actually capable of doing things like this (putting things in alphabetical order, putting the right things in envelopes etc ;) )

Porridge for breakfast, shop bought jacket potato and cheese for lunch - I know really bad but warm, tasty and filling so think that outways the cost at that moment. Dinner was chicken bits and salad, only home for a little while did lots of washing up then have been out for a rehearsal and came back and did some clicks etc.

Off to have a shower ;) and bed - OH's birthday tomorrow so want to make a fuss of him in the morning ;) it's raining now - bet it will be on my walk to work

Hugs to Kiwichick - it's at moments like this I'm glad I don't have any children - yet.

    Morning All

Another early start for me today. Hardly had any sleep for no real reason. Went shopping with Mum last night, which stressed me out big time:wall:

Got some porridge ready for breakfast, bought in a sarnie for lunch and some coke from the big bottle at home. So hopefully that's me sorted for the day!!

    Have a good one
