Went to my coffee morning this morning for victims and ex victims of emotional abuse. We were all supposed to be going on to the pub afterwards for an xmas drink as it was the last one now before xmas but it was called off because all the others partners wouldnt let them out for that long.
Bought a few things I needed from town. There was a stall in town selling pork baguettes and they smelt really lovely so I'm afraid I dropped the o/s rule and ate out
This afernoon I decided I was fed up with my front room so I rearranged all the furniture and it looks like a whole new room now.
Doing chicken nuggets and chips for tea because I bought a bag of 40 nuggets for 50p from Iceland :eek:2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040 -
i am very behind and out of synch OS wise these days
afraid the Christmas season has got the better of me - however
thought you might get a chickle out of this
my OH presented me with a very OS gift this evening, he can count himself lucky its not my MAIN christmas gift -
the sweetheart said he thought i have got REALLY INTO doing things in a green/os way - so - has presented me with a CLOTHES MANGLE!
( he will have me using a scrubbing board next! )0 -
BW have you told him to place his bits in the appropriate position so you can mangle them?Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Just having a browse to see what you're all up to.
Was supposed to be going to the gym when DH got home, but went straight up to bed when he came in muttering something about feeling rough & tonsillitis...............
Going on holiday on Sunday, so really need to do some serious organising of ski kit, looks like Saturday is going to be busy! (out interviewing all day tomorrow & Xmas party tomorrow night) We're going on Easyjet & DH is paranoid about luggage weight limits, so I've got to cut back to the bare minimum. I'll sneak the hairdryer in while he's not looking
Not much OS going on round here, apart from home cooked tea that is - Italian Chricken tonight, I'll put extra garlic in to give his immune system a boost!
If I don't make it back again before we go away, you all have a fab time over Christmas!

Awww, kiwi, littlies nativities are great aren't they? My DS2 was in his first one the other day. He only goes to that particular pre-school 1 day a week, so wasn't as up to date on all the songs, but he was a king, along with 1 other boy and one of the adult helpers. I think I have 10 mins of video of my DS looking totally bewildered, singing a few songs and the boy next to him spending the WHOLE time with his finger up his nose (lets just say the boy didn't need lunch that day either - bluergh, kids) However, my DS looked very cute and did a smashing job of delivering a present to the baby Jesus :snow_grin
Anyway, Mr TM came home today saying the brakes on the car have had it and he's not driving it again - so we've just been and got a 'new' car. Yep, just like that. Ok, it was my dad's and mum has decided it's too big for her to even attempt to drive and it's been sat there for months, so we're buying it off her. We offered her a fair price, she said less (:j )and loads better than a dealer would charge and best of all, I can pay in monthly, interest free installmentsIf she decides to buy a little car in the new year, we are going to use our old one as px so that will take a chunk out of what we owe her. So, Mr TM now owns a 5 yo 35000 mile Saab auto estate in tip top condition. Reeeeesult!
Right, boys asleep, must hand deliver some Xmas cards, cos my friend said 'bring it round one evening and we can have a glass of wine' Don't need asking twice. See ya later.

Im very pleased anyway. It means shopping tomorrow. Also, we are thinking of having another cat, but we are being very cautious as we already have one and im concerned that they wont get along and it will be a nightmare. If anyone has any good advice of getting another cat when you already have one then please let me know as im thinking of getting another in January.
I dont really have much else to say and im really tired so id probably just babble rubbish as im so tired, so I think ill post when I get back home from work.
Hope you all have a lovely day!

Morning :santa2:
Another bad night
WM on and will need drying in TD again  toilet cleaned, downstairs cleared, DW emptied by OH. Have cleaner coming today so not much else being done (she can do it all..LOL)-OH is stripping beds as I type.
OH painting his room today and all bits moved out there :j cant wait to get all his junk out there and out the house! Went to B&Q yesterday and maanged to get 3 tins of Dulux for £10. All 3 were reduced by silly prices in their bargain bin. Should have come to £68 but was a tenner
Hospital didnt go well yesterday and they have changed my tablets again and upped my steroids. The auto immune tablets Im taking ATM for the Lupus are making me sick but they want me to continue with them. My weight has dropped again and am struggling with eating. They have given me Fortisip drinks to have through out the day as Im also malnurished. My base of spine and right hip is crunchy and may need a hip replacement by 40  Dont want to continue as its so depressing, but Ive really had enough.
Anyways, went out for a drive after and ended up in Greenwich and took DD to see KingKong which was ok. Took our sarnies in with us in a bag and bought DD a kids pack-£2.95 (popcorn, sweet, drink and toy) which i didnt think was too bad. Was nice to get out but couldnt stop thinking about what the doc had said  Nevermind!!
Might see if we can go out later after OH has painted and cleaner been. Dont want to be stuck indoors ATM.
Breakie:Fortisip and think might have a tuna roll.
Lunch:Jacket Spud & Chilli + Fortisip
Dinner:Egg & HM Chips + Fortisip
Will catch up later. Take care all.
