  • Afternoon everyone :santa2:

Well, I've been up since 5am  and had my Dad over for the day, he's just gone so I'm sat here with a nice glass of wine (my darling father brought me a bottle :snow_grin ).

DD (7) has gone to see The Chronicles of Narnia with some friends and won't be back till 6pm - I'm a bit stuck with what to do on a Sat afternoon without DD around!!!

I'm toying between cleaning the bathroom, or popping into town to buy some stocking fillers - decisions decisions!!

Tea tonight will be HM sausage plait with new potatoes and minted peas - yum! DD will have already had her tea at Mac D's or BK.

Is anyone else looking forward to the semi finals tonight - X Factor and Strictly Come Dancing? I can't wait!!!

May pop in later. take care everyone!! :xmassign:
Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )
Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)

    Can any of you help?

I'm sure someone posted here a while ago about buying one MP3 and getting another one with lesser storage free. Cant find the post, I've been looking for 40mins!

    Any ideas?

    Posted on OS about MP3's?

The only place it might be is the Christmas Support thread - other than that it might have been moved out to another board such as shop but don't drop, or grabbit.

There looks like something that might help in grabbit.

Use the advanced search and type mp3*

Here you go, kiwichick - postedby moggins on 29/11

Managed to spend £80 in Boots yesterday but walked home with £272 worth of stuff so I was very happy :D lots of christmas presents sorted in one go. Now totally skint but it's payday tomorrow. I also got a refund from Asda for the MP3 players that DH bought, I was not amused with him spending £40 on two 128MB ones when I could spend £49.99 in Argos and get one 512MB with a 128MB one thrown in free! I got to keep the weekly stamp for spending over £30 though so I was quite chuffed with that.

My posts on here always seem to be retrospective :o

Had a bad night with ear and tooth ache and a cold and then ended up sleeping most the morning :o

Then had to get up and ready quickly and take OH to work then took the recycling (plastic bottles, glass, tins and paper) to the reycling banks in sainsburys car park - was manic but got a space so stayed in it and went over to the out of town retail park - had a good mooch round but didn't see anything for anyone. Did get some strong painkillers and decongestants in boots and also quite a few bits and pieces almost all of which were reduced/on multibuy and got the triple points too :T got a few bits in marks and spencer - oops - but their salad is our favourite and I wanted a carton of drink and then stopped off at a little shop on the way and got OH another Christmas pressie.

Was only home for about 20 minutes (in which time had something to eat, put the duvet cover in the wash and emptied the bins and put the sack in the bin store ;) )

Then went and collected OH and went to the designer outlet so he could get some coffee and managed to get his sister a pressie so that was good.

Since then have sorted washing put another load in (just need to get it out  ) and have cooked and eaten a chicken and pasta bake from stratch :j

Am now going to sort through some of my craft bits (after a browse on here) - have already done my clickthrus emaills etc.

Then I must take some more tablets - they really helped earlier and hope they let me (and OH) get a good nights sleep tonight.

    Morning everyone

Unfortunately I have been to bed and had a kip, now up and about and it's far too early!! I really need to sort my head out I think.

Today I'll be concentrating on an essay...yes another one, it's non-stop really. Maybe this is what is causing me sleepless nights as I was sleeping well for the month or two at the start of this course. Now that the pressure is on I can't stay asleep for more than a few hours. It makes me wonder if it is worth it and if I could really hack university on a full time basis.

Just had breakfast...porridge! Probably home made pizza for lunch. Who knows what I'll have for tea. Gotta do some exercise today, maybe a walk up a local mountain will encourage some undisrupted zzzzzzzz tonight.

It's exactly two weeks until Christmas day. Eeek:eek::rudolf:!!!
