Sally- must be a man thing, because my neighbour came round to pay me some money she owes me (yippee, I can afford a drink tonight) and as she walked through the door, she enthused about my hair
Have had 3 glasses of vino now, lots of yellow make-up to counteract the red cheeks(I love Models Prefer make-up) and my 3yo is handing me every piece of jewellery in my case

I remember my sister having a "fairies and princesses" theme party for her 7th or 8th birthday, and me being 9 or 10 and not especially interested in fairies or princesses, so coming in a ruffle shirt, buckle shoes and knee-breeches as a pantomime hero (I've always liked that look, but these days I've got a bit too much chest to carry it off).....
Oooooh, were you one of the "New Romantics" way back when ...:rotfl:
Don't let your chest put you off continuing in the "look" - - unless it's too hairy .. in which case ... ......

I am delighted to report the the "Points" system put in place to encourage, entice/bribe/blackmail and motivate my boys is finally ...
... working!!! :j :j :j
It's taken a little while to get the message home, but, now it's working like a charmThey have achieved their first "reward" and are well on the way to earning their next bonus reward.
They each have daily tasks assigned (nothing heavy! ) and are rewarded with points when they carry out their chores. It didn't so much meet with resistance ... more ... half heartednessBut, for the last couple of weeks, it has worked wonderfullly
"What do points make? ... PRIZES!!!" :rotfl: (cheers, Brucey)
Ok, maybe not "prizes" but certainly privileges and rewards. (Which they are enjoying now and gives me the bonus of having a minute or two on here - double whammy! LOL )
Tonight, I really must make an effort to continue with one of the rag rugs - it's needed for the bathroom - which has developed it's own little "air conditioning" a.k.a draft! Fortunately, it's not strenuous, so I can put it across my lap as I work (which will be warming in itself! = lower temp on the CH) and I can use it as an excuse to listen to some CD's
Take care ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Feeling a bit better today. Didn't have any proper breakfast or lunch - oops - but had chicken bits chips and peas for dinner.
OH did some tidying up and washing up today - but he did stay in bed this morning and then worked from home (hence the no breakfast)
Have caught up tonight on Martin's program - very good I thought - but just at a stupid time - so far have managed to get OH to set DVD player but over Christmas will be harder
Anyway done a few surveys today, having a sort out at the moment and managed to sell something else today via small ads at work and a few more things to deliver on Monday.
Need to catch up on washing and cleaning etc in the morning a bit so better get an early night.Initial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000

Morning
Well, I would have had a coffee table yesterday, had the stupid driver not buzzed the doorbell and walked straight off! He left a card and my boyf ran to go and get the door open, and the driver just dissapeared!! I have a card instead of a table, and they arent re-delivering until Monday!!
I was so dissapointed, but ive managed to make the boyf do something with me tomorrow to make up for it, we are going to the Bath xmas market in the morning, then too Dyrham Park in the afternoon, so i get to spend a whole day feeling christmassy! Yey!
After work I intend to go buy the drill driver to do my DIY jobs, then come home and clean up. Once that is done, ill put the tree up and start 'stringing' ll my new decorations and put them on so I have a good idea of how many more I need to buy on Sunday. Then I think I might watch a movie and chill out for a bit and then get up early to go out sunday.
Anyway, work was pretty good yesterday and im hoping that today is just as good. I finish at 3 so ill shop a little then come home and make home made pizza for dinner.
On that note. im going to wake the boyf up (in training for tomorrow) and get ready to go. Ive got to lug a great big bin with me that needs to be returned so i need to make a trip to the post office.
Have fun all! :xmastree: :xmastree: :snow_laug
