Having spent all morning in bed - oops I'm now curled up on the sofa - have toothache and generally feel run down. Did go into town for a bit but only bought something for my mum for her birthday and got my free Danielle Ryman and Appletiser from Zest mag in boots (both coupons expire this week) and got 51 points in the process - bargain!

Sitting here yawning and have no reason to be compared with all you busy people on here, had bacon, sausage and scrambled egg as a late lunch and will have fish bits for dinner :) Did lots of washing up glasses, plates etc from yesterday when I got up this afternoon :o and need to go and get some more washing to put on as yesterday's is dry now I think.

Bath a bit later and an early night for me I think - got a meeting first thing tomorrow so need to leave here on time.

At least having visitors yesterday meant that bathroom got a good clean and I put the dyson round the whole of the flat as well as having a sort out so it doesn't look too bad ;)

hoping to get the DD's to bed early so I can start some present wrapping. I might make some fairy cakes ready dor middle DD's party later, does anyone know if they freeze?

Yes Sally, I'm sure they'll freeze, but don't ice them first.

  • Morning all,

    Firstly:

    Happy Birthday Queenie!

Today I'm going to try and be a real OS'er....Taking lunch to work..and after work going to walk to childminders to collect DD and then walk home. Should save me about £4.20 which I know doesn't sound a lot but when you add it up it does...(£21 per week and £1050 a year  )

AQnyway better run and get ready for work...catch you all later!

  • Happy Birthday Queenie!!!!

Slept pretty well last night (about5hrs-good for me!). Absolutely knackered though and body aching and hurting.

Just put a white load on in WM and will probably be dried in TD as weather doesnt look too great out today  Have also cleaned the toilet. DW needs emptying, but will get OH to do that when he gets out of his pit. House is basically clean and tidy otherwise.

OH has some ebay bits to post off and is going to tidy up front/back garden and possibly give it a quick cut. Should be the last one this year.

Im not going to be doing much again today as I still feel rough and is painful to even stand  Going to update all my quicken money files later and check all balances of accounts and credit cards etc. A few phonecalls to make also-should keep me busy for a while

Breakie is cereal/toast. Lunch will be jacket spud with cheese/ham/coleslaw. Dinner-not sure yet.

    Will catch up later.

    Penny-Pincher!!
