Morning all,

Having a late start this morning....

DH at work and DD cirrently enthralled in Playhouse Disney!

Plans for today....

Meals:

Breakfast - Cereals
Lunch - Spaghetti on Toast (didn't have it yesterday as went out with friend)
Dinner - Meat (from freezer), potatoes and Veggies (also from freezer).

To-Do's:

Housework -

WM to be loaded
DW to be loaded
TD to be loaded (although the weathers looking pretty good may put washing out!)
Vacuum Living Room - xmas tree now up and all the little bits have started to fall off.
Clean bathrooms
Clean Kitchen.
Make Packed lunches for tomorrow (x3)
Spare Room to be sorted
Study to be sorted

That's about all...plus wanna sit down with DD and watch 'Miracle on 34th Street' at lunchtime as well.

Dishes are in dishwasher and sitting here trying to find a virus on the computer while I browse on here with a pot of tea.

Lunch will be chicken pie, roast potaoes, home made yorkies,leeks,carrots and cabbage with cauliflower and cheese sauce. Spring rolls for DD who will not eat the pie.
Pudding will be apple strudel from Lidl.

DH is already complaining about Christmas and all the hype- may start calling him Ebeneezer!

Morning!

Am exhausted! It was quite strange to wake up this morning and for me to see daylight! Im used to waking up in the dark and getting home in the dark now, so today was quite nice!

I went out with an old uni friend last night who I havent seen for about 2 years so it was nice to catch up. todays plans involve shopping and making an early dinner as the boyf is working 5-9pm . Fortunately the house is quite clean so I dont have a great deal to do, except some ironing - so ill do that when the boyf is at work in the lounge and watch some TV too. Im going to try and get prepared for work tomorrow early too so that I can watch a movie and chill out in the evening.

I need to find a xmas tree today too so I need to hunt for that, I also need a quick visit to the supermarket to get a few bits and I fancy a jaunt to habitat to drool over some of their stuff. Aside from that there isnt much to do so Ill have a quick browse of the freebies and watch a bit of TV, and maybe take a long bath!

Morning all,

Was pleased that I woke up at 9.00am today as I babysat till 3.00am and knew I needed to sleep in a bit later but don't like to lie in too late or I feel peeved for wasting the day.

Have thrown the bedding in the WM, and will take it to MIL's house when done as she kindly lets us use her TD. Bedding is the one thing I need a TD for, everything else goes on the airer.

I need to hoover whole of house today. I did dust everywhere yesterday so that's one less job. Also have to do some admin work for my slimming class.

It's quite a nice day so might go for a walk somewhere later with the OH.

Morning all!!

Haven't posted for a while due to things being a little hectic!!

Have just done my on-line shop for delivery tomorrow (could't face going round Tesco today!) and thought I'd check in here.

DS1 has not gone to swimming lessons for the last 2 weeks, due to having a cold and being wheezy. Is now running round the bedroom like a mad thing;) .

Have a job interview on Wednesday (if I decide to go for it!) and am dreading it! Need to do loads of reading, and just haven't had the chance to do it! Feel totally unprepared and would love to pull out - but worry that I'd regret it afterwards. It's the same job I do now, no wage rise, but is closer to home.

Need to do some housework (washing, vacumming etc) today. DS1 has a party this afternoon, I know I've got paper, gift etc - just need to find them!

hi all, feel much better today.

Got going early this morning and have fed critters, 2 fish, 2 dogs and 3 chickens and of course the kids! older two boys are at their dads today so things will be a little quieter here! done the ironing which is now up to date until tomorrow evening lol, BM on, no washing to do this morning (well not enough for a full load anyway!)

have done banking and transferred some more money into my savings account, have counted PMS jar and have £5.13 so far!!!! gone through decembers budget again to see if i can reduce outgoings even further.

Chicken in the oven for a roast for lunch and ive made a trifle for pudding. Leftover chicken will be used for a curry for tomorrow night, and it will be soft boiled eggs and soldiers for tea tonight.

the weeks grocery shopping looked good coming in at £21.74 for the week, may have to buy some more fruit but that will be it!

Have DS3 christmas play coming up this wednesday which i am really looking forward to and my older boys are off on a long weekend to their dads next weekend which means next weekend i will be able to finish off last minute things for christmas!!!!!

Morning all

A stinking cold fell on me during the night - where does all this snot come from???

Sorted the kitchen out - WM washing, DW empty and half loaded. Beds stripped, washings sorted and in heaps ready to load during the day, just about to hoover and clean out the parrot. DH's gone to help parents with some bits (they're moving in 2 weeks) DD's are making christmas cards.

Lunch today (when I say lunch I mean "food at some point today") will be baked mince with roast pots, yorkies and veg. What ever is left will be sarnies for everyone tomorrow.

Need to sort the desk at some stage today too - it's being taken over by paperwork...will rope DD2 in to help - she's my official "hole puncher" when I do my filing.

There's a Christmas craft day at a local castle today - might try and pop along later, they've got a Santas Grotty too, we're English Heritage members so will only cost 50p per child to see Santa...I can cope with that!

Morning Everyone

This is the first time i've posted on the daily thread so hello to all. I'm hoping it will help me get focused. Doing quite well OSing. Made my first HM pizza yesterday, DH thought it was delish has really given my confidence a boost.

WM on, TD drying DD's nappies, about to make a loaf, BM disappered into the garage long ago so making it in the Kenwood also making banana and choc muffins later for lunchboxes this week. Then got a pile of ironing to do and sorting out of DD stuff to go to Grandmas tomorrow and Tues while I'm at work. Might nip to Lidl later for some veg to go in SC tommorow while I'm at work with chicken thighs

Brunch will be eggs and bacon and tea will be whatever MIL produces.

Afternoon all (just)

Had a lovley day yesterday, got a letter from the shop that sold my "dream" wedding dress and said they will let me have the stock dress for 20% off making it £600 and i can pay in installments (they must be desperate for a sale) but i really wanted the dress so i jumped at the chance to save £150!!! it was obviously destiny... wasnt it

My mam paid the first installment for me as she didnt want me to be short over christmas.. bless her, she said i can pay her back after christmas.. which is sweet because i didnt expect her to offer. I feel a bit guilty now like.

House to myself till a little later, the landlords have just left as they had to re-paint the bathroom ceiling.

Hopefully going to my parents for dinner if i can wangle an invite, if not, beef casserole with packet mash as i havent got any potatoes in and the shops will be TOO busy to get any. Before OH sprung the landlords visit on me, 45 mins before they were due, i was going to ask OH to take me to sainsburys in the car but i cant be bothered to get the bus there and back with shopping.

Will post back later, off for a wedding surf.

Afternoon all,

Had a super lie in this morning but paying for it now as behind with all my jobs. Sun shining here today so washing is on the line for a change and chicken in oven for later. Will be having ours early as going out tonight with friends for pre-christmas drinks so need to make the house look presentable for my mum whos looking after the kids.
