Try and be positive PP (Difficult, I know :( ) ... being a woman *can* be fair ... when you end up with a beautiful daughter as a result ;) If your flow is especially heavy, perhaps a check up with your GP would be adviseable? Hope the cramps ease soon.

It is so quiet. Peace. OH asleep on sofa, dog asleep on floor, all 4 kids out with granddad..............................................
    ahhhhh...........

I reckon I have an hour - so its comupter off, hot chocolate and a magazine.

Granddad has taken them to Mcdonalds - and I always make sure he takes them to the park for an hour after to run the mcdonalds off! :rotfl:

Today DD3 (3yo) and I are off to the Theatre in Windsor to see The Gruffalo this afternoon! She loves the Gruffalo and has been saving every single penny of her pocket money to buy something Gruffaloish when we get there (I so hope they have something...)
Its not often we do anything together on our own any more, so I am looking forward to it as much as she its! :j

Placed a Tesco Online order last night ready for next week - and Christmas week deliveries are booking up already! I can't go that far in advance, I don't know what I will want/need! Which leaves me in a quandry - I really do not want to head to tesco during Xmas week. For the last 4 years I have gone at 4/5am - and last year 5am was jam packed.

(Bless - Hubby is snoring away!!!!)

Dinner will be Chicken Tortillas (I lurve those soooo much!!) and in the lounge evening/tonight needs a damn good cleaning through (pulling out the sofas/furniture that sort of thing)

    Have a nice day everyone!!!

Went to the gym this morning and had a shower there, then took out the clothes I had put in the washer just before I left. Hung them on the airer, and Queenie your post made me suddenly think- I always feel like I can't wash more than 1 or 2 loads as I only have 1 airer, so why on earth did I never think to buy a second airer so I have more space to dry stuff! So glad you're posting on here again Queenie to jog my brain like this!

Went to Aldi and bought their turkey crown and sausages wrapped in bacon (and thanks to whoever it was that posted on the daily thread recently about them, can't remember who but you know who you are). Both together only cost £7.50. Cos we didn't need hardy any groceries this week as have full cupboards I only spent about £10 including the turkey.

So.... I want to put another load of clothes in the WM and in the meantime pop out to buy another airer to hang them on. I also want to clean the bathroom and dust everywhere. I will probably hoover everywhere too as we will be moving all the furniture around to make room for...the Christmas tree! Yep, as it's the first weekend in December it's time now. Can't wait!

    Have a good day all,
    Sarah

  • Hi Queenie

Thanks for the reply. Ive always had problems with me monthlys. Have PCOS and endemetriosis anyway, but am also on Warfarin ATM for my blood clot, so blood is running 3 times as thin and think thats what is making it worse

Found a voucher code for Sainsburys on voucher board and have just bought 7 :o bottles of our fav wine Lindemans Bin 50 Shiraz which is normally £6.50 a bottle  but they have on special at £3.99, then used the £10 voucher and including delivery was £21-so £3 a bottle ;) Dont drink very often (well Im not allowed) but having more mates round and going out more, so cheaper to do this way than fund the local offy IYKWIM, and it looks nice and posh on me wine rack..LOL.

    Hello everyone

Late start for me - awake at 6, but went back to bed after feeding the hungry mouths and although I didn't get any more sleep, I didn't surface until 10ish.

We've decided to have a 'cinema day'. I was going to take the boys to the pics, but the only thing suitable for DS2 is Wallace and Grommit, but DS1 refuses to see it again. So, we've been and bought Polar Express on DVD, ice cream, pick and mix and I'll be making pop corn too. Then I'll tidy the living room up (makes me feel better) and we'll all sit on the settee with a throw over us and watch it. It's cold and rainy here, so that's a good use of an afternoon (beats cleaning and laundry any day)

Brekkie was muesli/cereal, lunch is baked beans/strangled eggs on toast and tea will be left over cottage pie with veg for me and probably sausages for the boys (cos they say they don't want shep.pie)

May also have to do a taste-test later tonight. They were doing samples of Benedictine in Tesco's, and I couldn't remember if I'd had it before. It's lovely and I'm sure will go nicely in hot choccy. I'm so good to you lot - putting myself in the face of danger by trying out these concoctions :rotfl:

Oh, and I was proposed to in Tesco's too. However, he was a 60+ bloke, with no hair, smelt like an ashtray and was buying value rolls, cheese and lots of cheap sherry_pale_ Methinks I'd be better off without him. Maybe it's my come-uppance for declaring my (virtual) love for MATH in The Arms last night :rotfl:

Ok, off to have a cuppa before the cinema session begins :)

Afternoon all - had a really lazy start - didn't get up until 10.30 - just lay in bed being spoilt with tea and toast and a "friends" dvd!! Popped into the school xmas fayre...won some champagne and strawberry jam! Popped off to homebase to get some lights for my big round bush in the front garden (been triming it for the past 2 years to get it into shape). Then a quick pop into sainsburys for lunch, we're having burgers (couldn't be bothered to make them) with cheesy topped baps and various pickles. DD's are playing board games infront of the log fire and the house is a tip...but I really don't care today :T

After lunch we'll dig out a dvd to watch and just snuggle under a duvet, it's been so miserable here today - really heavy hail and thunder storm earlier and there's still hail stones all over the grass.

Not working until wednesday so plenty of time for all the boring house work stuff.......really want to put my tree up but have to wait as I need to completly turn the living room around and move the parrots cage into the hall....he likes his christmas sabatical to the hall...he gets spoilt rotton and loves a turkey leg to strip!

Hope you all have a lovely relaxed afternoon.
