....and lots of blokes LOVE big boobs and larger women. I should know, I am size 18-20 too, am 48 years old, bra size 40D and never ever was short of admirers throughout my life, even now that I am happily married and totally not interested in flirting (hey, I got hit on by a lovely bloke two days ago in a pub hehehe).

Love to all, fat and skinny, we are all worth of love and respect.

Hello to all, and welcome to the new posters! :j

Commiserations to everyone who's poorly or has poorly children - especially the sort who magically feel better as soon as you've told the school they won't be in - I remember it well....

Ancasta -take no notice of that stupid doctor, if you're size 20 - 22 and 5ft 10 that sounds to me as if you're statuesque, curvaceous, and probably various other nice adjectives! Some GPs sure were at the back of the queue when the Bedside manners were being handed out!

Rzl - do hope you are feeling better and manage to see your boyfriend. One of these days I must go into Lidl and listen out for someone with a Durham accent (and, probably, end up accosting someone from Redcar or something.)

Had good news this week, DS has got a second job which will mean he can pay off his debts much faster. :j It's at a nightclub, so as he'll be working Thurs, Fri and Sat nights he'll get pretty tired, (and only get about 4 hours' sleep on Thurs night before getting up for his f/t job  , but he'll be doing something he loves (playing about with lights and lasers) and getting out of a financial mess. I'm a bit worried about his hearing though as it's very loud in there - don't think he'd appreciate my giving him earplugs though :D

Ancasta, you poor thing. What the doc said was totally out of order. A lady at my work is pregnant and I reckon she's a size 26 ish, and loads of big women have had babies no problem. I run a slimming group and lots of the wonen there have been big most of their lives including when they had their babies. But if you choose to lose weight (and hun it must be because YOU want to, not cos the Doc or anyone else tells you to), it will benefit your health in many ways. Feel free to pm me if you want any help on diet and exercise.

Been so busy this week so not much OS, have been going to the gym lots and having showers there to make most of my subs, have to do a load of washing tonight and will hang on the airer.

    Evening All,

Very late post for me today. DH working from home so computer tied up ALL day, hes in the bath now though so I've jumped on :p

ANCASTA - just wanted to add my support here. Your doc sounds like a royal T***ER. I am 16st, 5' 8" and have three healthy kids. I've ALWAYS been big and fall pregnant at the drop of a hat, so mush so that DH has had the snip - HE HE HE ;) Ignopre him is my advice. Certainly dont take what he said to heart.

Hello to all our new posters, glad you could join us.

Had a viewing tonight at 6 which seemed to go really well so fingers crossed. Its the first one I've felt positive about in AGES.

Feeling rubbish (girly probs) so am cheating and having chips from the chippie tonight - YUM :D

DS's finger is no better so had him back at doc today and he is on penacillan for 10 days now. Doc is worried there may be a foreign object imbedded in his nail bed. Goodness only knows how we go about removing it. If its still bad monday its hospital time for us.

Off to browse days posts now,

    Enjoy friday night everyone,

    Al.

Not very O/S today.. got up late - 1pm  Woke up at 8am with every intention of getting up.. then dozed back off. Mustve been catching up on the sleep i missed last few nights.

Went straight out to the shops to buy gas and leccy as i got paid today and was into emergency credit on both meters.. £50 later (  ) i went looking for christmas deccies id seen and fallen in love with in woolworths (similiar to ones in BHS i loved but 1/2 the price!) i hadnt bought them when i saw them as didnt have the cash... unfortunetly today they didnt have any left :( Some come back home and had a quick tidy round the house as had a friend coming round.

After friend left to go to work i made some tea (realising id not eaten all day!) Cheated and had some southern fried chicken strips from tesco - only 75ps worth so cheaper than KFC! but i made my own chips :p So semi-oldstyle. :rotfl:

Then my most O/S moment of the day... door went and as i dont have "unexpected" visitors i was a little puzzled.... anyway was a man from the dairy! He asked was my mum or dad in... :o Seemed quite shocked when i told him it was my house! :rotfl: Anyway he explained they were knocking all the houses locally to see if anyone else was interested in having their milk delivered seen as they were suffering job shortages. I agreed to try it (mum has always had hers delivered so its what im used to) only problem being its a minimum of 3 pints a week (i only USUALLY use 2) and only semi-skimmed.. i prefer skimmed. But decided to go for it anyway so i now will be gettin 1 pint delivered monday wednesday and friday mornings. Just hope i get to it before the local kids do!

Edited to add: Oh and i sold a book on amazon! Bought it few weeks ago (to get free delivery on money diet order ;) ) Read it and decided to list it instead of it lingering on my shelf... within 24 hours of listing it.. sold! :D

Feeling fine now, thanks :D and had lovely night out with boyfriend.

I don't have a Durham accent. For some reason, despite having spent 12 of my first 18 years in Durham, I never picked an accent up at all! My dad's from Surrey and mum from Bedfordshire, but it's not like I picked up either of their accents instead - mum's accent is quite markedly Bedfordshire but mine is almost totally neutral. Just occasionally somebody will notice I am northern (because of a slight northern vowel in words like "Durham" and "southern" - and the way I pronounce "Newcastle"!) but it's really impossible to tell where I'm from. It's not like it was a conscious decision NOT to get an accent (I got teased at school, and even a little bit in the old-fashioned engineering company I work for, for being "well-spoken" - but I guess people will take the p!ss whatever accent you have!)

I have an English Language & Linguistics degree and always found the phonetics of regional accents really interesting :)

OK, off to bed now!

Hi all - Thought id start this off before I get ready for work. Not feeling too happy at the moment as im working every saturday they can throw at me so that my wages seem decent when they arrive, but im not getting any time to myself and im beginning to get thoroughly tired of doing 6 day weeks for three out of four in the month.

Im so looking for a new job....

Anyway - have a good day all, ill post back later if I have anything interesting to report - although, I had an email from an old friend yesterday who is up my way this weekend so Ill give him a call and that should be interesting. Might even go shopping and treat myself after work!

    Take care

Hi JW, I'm not too happy either this morning. I've been working all week and was looking forward to a lie-in (at least until 8 lol) but one of my neighbours had other ideas and decided that as she left her flat around 6 this morning, she would make as much noise a possible, slam doors as loud as possible and wake as many people up as possible too, I suppose! Aaaaarrrrrggggghhhh!

Well, plan for today: a couple hours work, posting some letters and drinking as much coffee as possible! Feel like a bear with a sore head!

    Have a nice Saturday everyone!
