    Morning All,

Its too dark here to see whats going on outside but I cant hear any rain-yet. Its miserable when its wet but it is one of the driest winter on record so if we dont want a drought come summertime we had better pray for a few days of rain. Sorry, thats the kiwi coming out in me, we were forever on water restictions and hosepipe bans in NZ. Animals on farms dying from lack of water, just nasty really so I dont mind rain at all.

    EDIT-Its snowing at mine.

DS (2) is up with me and is watching tv with his milk, others are in bed although I've been up between 3 and 4.30 with DD2 (1). The washing is hung on the airer but need to get another lot in to string up in the bathroom. PP-hows your airer working out??

I think todays plan is to try and find some sort of storage boxes for the kids toys, we are forever tripping over/picking bits up and then even when they are all away the front room is still crowded with them. I still have some sorting to do in the loft and lots of kids clothes to go through. My friendsand I swap whatwe all have as each child grows out of it, I do thiswith sil too and it saves loads.

Right, off to change DS's nappy now-YUCK.

    Have a good day all.

  • Kiwi-chick: Put my 1st washload on it yesterday and was all dry by the time we went to bed (about 4hrs) and smelled lovely. So am very impressed ATM. Have bedding to do today, so will see how that does. Its in our room in front of the window, as theres a large radiator there and kept the window open a crack to stop too much condensation.

  • Morning all :santa2:

Going to the sales this morning, OH wants a new suit for work. Going early to avoid the traffic. I have some vouchers to spend from christmas so will use them if I see anything I like. My new budget doesn't allow any money for new clothes this year so I am relying on my birthday (thanks mum) and any money I make from selling stuff on Ebay.

    Brekkie : Porridge
    Lunch : Sarnie
    Dinner : Lasagne

Will spend this afternoon sorting the kitchen out. I need to find somewhere to store all the chocolate the kids got for Xmas and clear the fridge ready for my Tesco delivery tom. (PP I also used a voucher found on this site)

WM on, will have to dry on the airer round the radiator as its freezing outside.

    Have a great day everyone

    Morning everyone :hello:

Been awake since 5 (too much baileys last night :D) but didn't get up until the postie called at 8.20. I was luxuriating in the fact the rest of the house are still asleep - totally unheard of for DS's esp ds2, but then they didn't get to bed till 11pm. I expect there's another house nearby with lots of tired boys in it too :D

So, sat here with me cuppa (a detox tea ;) ) wondering what to do today. MIL flies home this afternoon so Mr TM will be taking her to airport and I don't know if the boys will be going with him. Luckily it's not snowing here, but we have had that dreadful wind and rain o/n. Seems to have calmed down now.

So, today will be laundry and cleaning as I can be bothered, I think. Must wash kitchen floor and vac round but will save deep clean until I take decs down. May even go over to my mum's and see what she wants doing.

Foodwise - brekkie will be porridge
    D - ham sarnies
    T - haven't decided. A freezer dip I think.

Anyway, have a good day all and hope your trip to the hospital isn't too bad for you, PP :)
