Queenie-1st load of laundry on Airer
Thanks for the advice hun. TD will now be used in emergencies only!!
DW now emptied. OH is doing some more decorating in DD's room and came back from town with a couple of bargains from M&S  He also bought me a retractable washing line...Thanks!!! LOL.
Currently watching Polyanna which somebody suggested on this website and is very good so far.
We have a busy few days ahead. Hospital tomorrow and cleaner here, then 2 friends coming round (we are being treated to an indian) as Im always cooking for him and he says I should be treated...bless him!! Then Saturday we have a couple of friends round for a light lunch (rolls, cheese/crackers, salad etc) and in evening we have SIL/BIL round with their 2 brats..I mean kids and am doing a full roast lamb dinner..I must be mad but OH will be doing mainly all of it....but I will be delegating which is the toughest job..LOL. Welcoming in the new year with them etc. Sunday-resting!!! Monday going to OH's cousin (about an hr away) and there going on a walk and his wife & I will meet them in a pub for a drink
after. Im gonna be shattered but am looking forward to it all. I like keeping busy and makes me feel like a proper person rather than a crip.
Tuesday DD is back at school  I love her dearly but I think I will commit murder very soon if she doesnt go back to school. I think her hormones are kicking in and everything is "am I bothered", "whatever!", "dream on!" and "yeah....ok"my mother would have beaten me half to death if id have spoken to her like it. I had to resort to soap in mouth the other day
but I dont think she'll say it again, or at least make sure I dont hear her next time..LOL
Anyways, I need some lunch and hope fully will post later.
Take Care All

Kiwi - have you thought about maybe putting everything into storage and seeing if you can get a local b&b or hotel deal for a few weeks until the move goes through?
My cousin did this recently, they did a family room in a large hotel with breakfast for 3 weeks out of season. Ok so it's not ideal but it was much cheaper than renting for 6 months.
Well done Rage --- don't go buying DVD's tho - have a scout around for a free dvd rental trial, you should get a couple of weeks or a month of free rentals from it.
Done the ironing now I'm bored....shall go annoy the kids."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
hi guys, back from bowling! im exhausted! had a great time tho, and the kids really enjoyed themselves. DS3 is at his foster carers for a day of respite for me and the boys DS1 & DS2 are off to their dads at 3pm for more birthday fun!!! (driving range i think) so which leaves just me and baby....i see some zzzzzzz's just around the corner for me lol!!!
Rage- congrats hun!!!! you should def look in to dvd tarting, i did it all last summer holidays and the kids watched dvds all summer long for nowt!November NSD's - 70 -

Hope everyone is having a good day.
As DH and myself are off work until after new year, we took our grumpy 2yrDS to wetherspoons for a meal. As it was my treat, i made sure we were there before 12 noon as I got 2 cups of tea for the price of one. Then DH wanted a curry, so we had their curry club offer with a free drink each, and a bowl of chips for DS ( going through a funny eating fad:rolleyes: - DS that is!).
Also went shopping online at Boots and got Thomas toy for DS for £10 instead of £20, along with foot spa for my Mums Bday in feb. Even got some neutral wrapping paper for gift wrapping through the year.
Now hopingto make my list of things to do before I go back to work:- Lose some of the weight gained over Xmas.
- Sort out stuff around house for selling on either Ebay/Carboot.
- Sort out laundry, and dinner table covered in clean clothes.
- Sendthankyou letters to family/friends for DS pressies.
- Sort out present box for next year ( got some stuff in sales already)
- Make 2006 the best OS year yet.;)
