Hola friends
Back in the land of a internet connection (without fear of cost). Though have spent on Onspeed as had had many good recommendations, and it seems to make dial up almost useable.
As promised last night no weather reports:o . Everyone else is still in bed (and we are an hour ahead of you!) DH will emerge shortly but DS & GF will be nearer 11. It's nice to have peace and time for me.
WATwit - (((hugs))) re FIL, my Dad has serius dementia and has no recollection of anything or anybody, almost blind now and almost deaf too, would not keep glasses or an hearing ai in anyway,he is fit enough otherwise, and eats and drinks well, though he stays in bed much if not all of the time after a hip replacement after a fall last year. He always loved chocolate so we make sure there is a large box of Malteesers in his room for him, and the staff crumble them into his porridge and we give them him when we see him. DB does the honours while I am out here. Sounds mean but it is all we can give him that he would appreciate.
M-M (((hugs))) to Ulrich, make sure he does as he should.
Pen-Pin - sorry to hear you had to miss the concert, but I am sure DD really enjoyed it, and as you said she is very good, so it was a nice thought for you to make sure DH and DD enjoyed it.
Smoky - Please go easy on yourself, you are achieving a lot.
Everyone else, who are not around, or I have missed their problems while MIA (((big gentle hugs)))) to you all.
 to everyone else.
Take care - DGMember #8 of the SKI-ers Club

Hello everyone, the sun is peeping through this morning, although got up at 5.45am to let the dog out and it was still dark, very clear night and I wouldnt be surprised if it is not long before we have a ground frost here. We have chicken pie, pots and veg tonight. just counting down the days till I am off next week. Duddles to everyone, especially to anyone or their family who are poorly x0

Morning Guys!
Typical....I feel a bit better this morning!!
Have a hospital visit this morning so need to get showered and dressed. OH has taken DD to school. The WM is on and the DW has been emptied.
Just wondered if someone could advise me....I have my folks coming Saturday and was going to make a Lasagna. Could I prepare it and put it together today and would it be ok to cook on Saturday....or would it be too soggy and gross? I have a very busy day tomorrow and didnt want to do Saturday before they come (early) or whilst they are here...any suggestions
OH is clearing out the laundry room today. It has to be done every few months as things just get dumped in there.
Anyway, take care everyone and thanks for listening to my moaning:o

Good morning Chums ,
Have about 100 pages of reading to catch up with this morning for my course. weather looks quite bright so I may get my cushion covers washed and dried fingers crossed. No shopping day today and so far have spent around £3.60 out of my £50.00 October food allowance. I have to take my DGD to the dentists after school this afternoon and then I am going to dinner at DDs house so only breakfast and lunch to do today .Think I will have a salad for lunch as I want to use up some nice roquefort cheese that is in the fridge with some cherry toms that won't last much longer.
So a nice easy day today I think. Hope you all have a good day and <<hugs to those who need one>>
Cheers JackieO0 -

Morning :hello:
My card delivery has just arrived, I realised 2 days ago that I only had 7 card blanks left  For packaging, they've used a Huggies nappies box, and scrunched up pages from an old catalogue (which will be shredded for animal bedding) instead of those horrible polystyrene things. Very impressed, I am
In fact I think I'll email them to say so.
I've got some handwashing to do and a pile of ironing, which will seem very easy and quick after having to use FIL's slow-mo iron yesterday
2 cages need cleaning out, then the day is all mine mine mine
More cardmaking methinks. I am a coffee bean0
