Was reading this thread and was surprised that no one has mentioned looking for work in a hotel. Most large hotels run large party nights at christmas and need staff to cover these - mainly evening and weekend work. Not all use agency staff so its definetly worth asking. You can do waitering or bar work usually and dont usually need experience.0 -
Doing party plan is fantastic at the moment as people often want a hastle way to shop and are entertaining at home , Hostess's/hosts get a lot of free products so they can use these as christmas presents . Have a look at the following site , because it shows you most of the home based business opportunities and what the start up costs are , how much you can earn etc

It's a u.k based web site so it's very relevant ( and no it's not my website lol)just being helpful . I do partyplan ( and very successful too), but not allowed to advertise on this site, so I won't be advertsing for people to join my team0 -
I wonder if it's still possible to get a xmas job? Have all the xmas shop positions been filled already?Member 7 of 100 to 10k - £100 to £10k = £1490

The Holiday Lighting industry is one of the fastest growing service industries in the United States, Canada, and the UK! Each year, the demand for this service increases. For some reason everyone wants to outdo their neighbors with a bigger and brighter display of lights. In a recent study, it was shown that the thing that people despised most about the holiday season was putting up the Christmas lights.
