Nichelette wrote: »Hi, I was wondering if anyone has had a Boots interview yet? I got an email this morning and have booked one for lunchtime tomorrow as I'd like to get it over with asap, but the email mentioned being on the shop floor? Are they going to make me approach people? This is my idea of hell which is why I applied to be a cashier... I need the money so I'll do it if I have to, but I really hope this isn't the case. Does anyone know what will happen?
Hi
I applied for a Boots job a couple of weeks ago, did the online questionaire a day later and am still waiting to hear back either way. Can you remember how long you waited between the questionaire and then the email saying yes or no to an interview?

Hi Kezia, I wrote in my diary that I applied on the 22nd of October, they contacted me on the 3rd so it was nearly 2 weeks.
In case anyone is interested it turns out the interview was quite easy and not as scary as I thought it would be, and I was given the job there and then so no waiting around.

Just read this on MSN (am i allowed to say that on here?!)
Useful article on who is hiring for christmas, including...
Hyatt
La Senza
Miss Selfridge
Poundland
Starbucks
The Dorchester
Vodafone
and sainsbury's.
Some of these are location specific, such as The Dorchester (London), but others, like Sainsbury's, are national. Have a look at all of them tho - might give you some ideas

Just to let anyone know who is interested in the Post Office, my son has just been taken on but it only from the 1st until the 24th December, but the interview process was very easy. If anyone knows where he could get a job as a Fitness Instructor, (with Swedish Massage)/Lifeguard which is what he trained for I would love to hear from you.
Hi Billie, this is probably a good time of year for your son to look for a job as gyms tend to be busiest in January. He should probably visit all the gyms in his area and ask about jobs.
My local gym is often recruiting for bar or reception staff, but often the reception staff seem to move into being instructors, so if he is offered anything working in a gym it would be worth taking with a view to working his way up.0 -
