Just to let anyone know who is interested in the Post Office, my son has just been taken on but it only from the 1st until the 24th December, but the interview process was very easy. If anyone knows where he could get a job as a Fitness Instructor, (with Swedish Massage)/Lifeguard which is what he trained for I would love to hear from you.

I applied for a job at boots and did an online psychometric test. The next day I got an email saying I had been unsuccessful! I'm worried now there is something deeply wrong with me psychologically! :rotfl:

LOL Hubby and I both got through and now they keep pestering us by email to book an interview (every couple of days). However, we were more interested in the Argos job (and it's much closer to home), and we were both lucky enough to get that one.

Amazon depot on the outskirts of Milton Keynes are still recruiting, mainly through Top Temps in Luton. there are three different shifts, including a night one.

great thread btw, I wish I could do the Amazon job but I'm a keyholder so I can't!

The Early Learning Centre is also recruiting for store and at its two call centres in Manchester and Glasgow.

Great post! I think I am sorted for work at the moment but for anyone in Sheffield the following are apparently still recruiting for Christmas:

HMV, Fat Face, River Island, Sainsbury's (Archer Rd, The Moor, Truro Ct), USC and lots at Meadowhall. Good luck.

B and Q also did a pyschological profile on my son from answers on their on-line application form, what a load of cr*p!
